Random Disasters

Are there any mods or anything that will actually create random natual disasters?  Im building in the San Fran map and think it would be better if randomly I would have earthquakes rattle my city.

Random disasters were a feature of older versions of the game.

I remember reading that new disasters are impossible to create but I'm not sure whether what you're asking for is impossible. Mabye you could post this in the ATTENTION: Post Modding Requests Here thread and see if modders can do something.

Maybe it would be possible if it could be tied into the code that has fires start randomly when there's a lack of fire coverage.

Well, that assumes using the built in disasters, of course.  Nothing new like floods.  I miss the floods from SC2k.

Creating disasters is impossible at the moment, no-one has found a way to do it yet, sorry about that.
