Region City Size?

I see all of these to download regions that have all big cities?  I was under the impression you could not change the region in the game?  I wish I could make them all big cities and do my terrain work in Region Mode.

 

Also, why are all of the highway signs I download pointing in the wrong direction?  I am in the U.S. and they all seem like overseas set up.

Yeah, the whole point of that post was that every download for roadsigns is for european only.  I have dl'd 6 different sign packs and they are all European......so yeah, thanks, i already downloaded other signs...that dont work.

Here you go. This is what I have. These are right side U.S. signs. all I did was search 'highway'

Oh I'm a dummy.....I couldnt figure out why they wouldnt work on my highways.....then i finally figured out....they are elevated highways

My version of Sim City 4 has the cars drive on the left but the signs for driving on the right.

So download the European version. sometimes called LHS.

I am like the cars driving on the side of the road I am used to (the left). But I don't like the signs been on the opposit side to the cars (the right).

I have altered my region so that it is now 8x8 large city squares so plenty to work on there.

I was wondering, is it possible to change the size of the city square so that its say twice the size of the regular large city square?

 

I had a look for threads on this but no luck.

If i'm right u can edit your downloaded region just like u want it to be...

If u want to change the regions, just open up config.bmp with MS-paint, edit the colours and save it.

 

Also if u think the map-image is too big... just resize it to (2^a)+1 width and (2^b)+1 height.

After resizing, config.bmp should also be resized to a wide and b high.
