    Hi all.

RadioheadFan, mayormommy, and your_adress_here: Thanks for your wonderful comments! 48.gif

SC4 meister: Thanks for the welcome to page two. And... that's a good idea to make the building historical. Unfortunately, it had already been replaced before I had the chance to do so, but I was patient and waited until another marina office grew (it's a different building, but it looks good there as well). I'll make sure to make it historical this time. Thanks for the suggestion and the comments!

So, the next update will take place tomorrow morning. And this time I'm not lying. I basically have everything ready to update, but I want to go to sleep.

Once again, thanks for all the great comments. I'll keep my updates coming, and you guys just keep commenting 2.gif...

    Mallow, this is excellent work.

The city began great with the downtown island, and now that its spreading into lower density away from the island its all coming together very well.  The beaches are beautiful too!

Keep up the good work. 35.gif9.gif35.gif

Alright then! Time for an update... but first a word from your local sponsor... who just happens to be me 1.gif.

Thanks to both bobinator and Sim_Idiot for commenting, and thanks for the wonderful compliments, Sim_Idiot.43.gif

So, as promised, I have named some landmarks after every person who has visited this CJ and posted. There are still plenty of landmarks to come, and some yet to be named. And I haven't even started naming the streets and roads yet!

    Anyways...

So, I'm just going to post all the pictures with no introductions... because there are thirteen pictures!9.gif

As you can see, I have a new airport and golf course. Are they okay? Or should I get rid of them?

As always, any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

They look great, I especially like the airport. And thanks for naming the marina after me, the beach and marina are one of my favorite places in Nehalem.

Wow, thanks for the airport! 9.gif I guess I spend enough time in airports that it's appropriate. I just hope people don't go %$#%$ Mayormommy Airport the way I go $#*%$# Dulles... 27.gif Probably not, though, with such a nice design. 2.gif

So, can we get a new region shot soon so we can find our way to our favorite landmarks? Or at least the next flight to Key West? 10.gif

    WOW! 6.gif

So many posts! That's a good thing, I hope.

First of all, thanks to all the new posters in here: TheGuardianAngel, jeronij, PhilsCafe, AfroThunda, and Alkaola. And thank you for all your wonderful comments... you make me blush every time I read one 43.gif.

Secondly, to all the ones that have posted here before: RadioheadFan, Sim_Idiot, bobinator, mayormommy, crazyarchitect, SC4 meister, and Muzz, thanks for your wonderful comments also... but a special thanks for visiting again!

And a special thanks to Muzz for pointing that link out for me. I had forgotten who's signature I found it in.

And, just to answer a question... mayormommy's question... sure. I'll post a region shot for you all on this update. There's only one populated city (I removed the temporary demand boost city), so it looks a little odd. But, that'll be fixed.

So, I take it it's time for an update... and I have five more landmarks to find so I can put names to them.

Well, since mayor Jeroni has inspired much of my work (not to mention providing the parks), I would like to dedicate my favourite park yet to him. This is Jeroni Park!

    favparkday7ih.jpg

    favparknight3vq.jpg

I also created a large nature reserve and park. It's along the coast, right next to an elementary school. Many of the students have an outdoor school in the park once a year, to study nature. I have named the park TheGuardianAngel Park. See it below.

    woodlandnaturepark7us.jpg

    woodlandnatureparkzoom3su.jpg

I hope PhilsCafe, AfroThunda, and Alkaola can be patient. I will find something to name after you guys, but it may take just a little time. Hopefully by next update you all three will have your own special part of Nehalem.

Next we have a closeup on fivedayrental Field, where developement can now be seen surrounding it.

    baseballfield3wf.jpg

Next is the final (and I mean it this time 2.gif)version of RadioheadFan Marina. I didn't like how the marina was sitting so far above the water, and also how the boats were overlapping.

    marinafinal6ha.jpg

This is one of my favourite bridges in Nehalem. It's so... quaint.

    bridgewithhouses2qf.jpg

Next is a line of palm trees on a beach. Nehalem is not a tropical or mediterranean area, but somebody from Florida moved here and missed the palm trees... so they planted a row of them.

    palmtreeline3kb.jpg

Well, the next picture will be the last photo from Nehalem for now. I'm going to neighboring cities to boost the residential population... right now Nehalem has over 120,000 commercial population and less than 100,000 residential. So, we leave Nehalem with a nice picture of a boat on the open water.

    boatonwater1tt.jpg

As promised, the region shots. I think I am going westward next.

    regionsat7xk.jpg

    regiontrans6er.jpg

So... Nehalem is finished for now, but by all means not complete. Much will be done to come in Nehalem, but for now, other areas in the region need attention. So, next update you should see the beginnings of a coastal community. Hope you liked this update, and, as always, any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

I like Jeroni park too. Nice concept. You could have planted more trees though (I mean in the park). Just a suggestion.

I really like how you've explained the palm tree row and some other details in your city. It is the detail that makes a city unique. Good job so far.

lol thanks for naming the nature reserve park after me. And Great updates. I like the Jeronij park also. But in a way, it does look like something is missing. If You want, you can test it alittle and see what that something is.2.gif

But other then that, it looks awesome.29.gif

Hmm... I know I haven't posted here in awhile, but I got kind of bored with SC4 for a bit. Everybody needs a break sometime, eh?

Anyway, I'm playing again. There has been much progress in Nehalem... but I think I'll post my next update tomorrow. (I need sleep 1.gif).

    But, I will say this...

MayorTim, superchad, crazyarchitect, Simguyuk, RHF, PhilsCafe, TheGuardianAngel, and SC4 meister: Thank you ALL for your wonderful comments and suggestions. I will, of course, keep your suggestions in mind while I continue to build.

So, what to expect? A coastal canal city, and lots of forest. As well as a little trimming up of the outskirts of the city of Nehalem itself (it was too square, after all).

Hope you will join me for the next update, and thanks again for visiting.
