STEX keeps freezing

when ever i go onto the stex it keeps freezing just as the site loads up.

it sucks because i cant download any BATS, i might need to get a new internet server

First of all, what kind of browser do you use? (ex. Internet Explore)

Maybe you should try another browser.

I had the same problem, being connected with aol and a slow 56K connection that sometimes acts like a 28K. I use the aol browser, which works fairly well with this site, but I also tried the Firefox browser from Mozilla, and it worked as well.

Yes, the STEX page freezes, it still does it with me evertime I have a look at it, but you have to be patient, very patient, it takes about 2 minutes and it defreezes by itself. Don't touch anything while it is loading though.

I know that it is a pain in the *arm* (believe me the whole site is in my opinion since it changed) but that is the way it is. The site cannot please everyone and every kind of connection. It might work for some and for others it don't. So, with a little patience you will be able to download from the STEX.

BTW, it is only the first page of the STEX that does that everytime.

Edit:

You can do a search on google for * Firefox Mozilla* , another browser that is free to download. A lot easier, more reliable and less complicated than IE. Try it....you will like it!.....lol
