Straight Shores

All around I see people creating these nice, straight shores. How do I create straight shores? I want to use the wall mods but, I'm not able to because the shores are so jagged and random.

they are most likely using road tiles to straighten out land.

place a single road tile on the desired 'height' of land then place more single pieces of road tile aroud that one and you will find that the land is flattened out and the edges are sharp. then delete teh road tiles after wards.

Yeah, I was annoyed as you when I first got the wall mods. Turns out, there isn't really a secret, it just takes practice, but there are a few common techniques:

Assuming you have something from PEG, place one of his CDK lots. This will level out that area. Click on god mod (with control+shift+alt) and under the leveling tools, use the 'quick level brush' to level the land around the first lot. Using varying levels of zoom and varying brush sizes (shift+[1-9]) you should be able to achieve a straigh enough shoreline.

The reason you should place the PEG lot is to get the accurate level above water that shore lots look best at. His lots automatically go to a certain height.
