  1. As a Computer seller, I just have a few (kind of technical) points I want to say - please forgive me if I confuse you. - The ASUS m/b is a sweet one if you dont think of adding extra PCI Cards in the future. If you may want to add a Powerful soundcard, a Wireless Network Card, a TV Capture Card and so on choosing this motherboard is a not a good idea --> It has only 2 slots for those mentioned cards, which means you can put only two extra cards in the future. This motherboard supports DDR ram only, so you will miss out on the new DDR2 Ram thing. - If you build this PC to play games, I think you should choose a PC with a separate graphic card. Integrated one like this would use part of your PC memory (the RAM) to power so a seperate one with dedicated memory on the card is much better. Some games wont run with an integrated graphic card, some require DirectX 9 compatible graphic card so this is another point to consider. - the RAM: you mentioned DUAL, i think you want to say DUAL Channel Memory. I would definitely recommend you get: 1) A matched pair of RAM. 2) A brand-name Ram. I have seen so many computers crashed because of generic RAM running dual channel. Kingston, Corsair Value Ram are 2 affordable brands i would suggest. And if you buy RAM to run in dual-channel mode , buy those in a twin pack - 2 identical RAM sticks in a pack. Just a few points to share with you. Hope you have the best PC.
  2. Simcity4.exe files version doesnt change ....

Thanks everyone. I reckon I will return the RH to the shop to get a different copy. I still dunno what the prob. is but I agree with people (Jonno and everybody else): No need to fix a running copy.... It's just I want to see the great nite-lite on some downloaded B.A.Ts. New POST: I found a way to fix my own problem. Probably, my original Simcity 4 is too old so when I install RH, the Simcity 4.exe file does not change. So i go download the Update for Simcity 4 (the original SC4) and patch my Simcity 4.exe file from 1.0.233.0 to 1.0.272.0 (I cant remember the number exactly). After that I install RH and 'voila' my Simcity4.exe file change to the right one which is 1.1.610.0. Man, I cant wait to go home and try this on my PC. Once again, thanks every one.
  3. Hi, I tried to find a similar question/answer but I couldn't find any. So I post a new one. If it was elsewhere, please forgive me. I got original Simcity4 and recently bought RushHour. Both are US version. Installation went smoothly, I can play RushHour. I update the game with 638 Update and 640 to see night light on downloaded B.A.Ts. That is when I realised my Simcity4.exe file's version wasnt changed at all. I think it is still the file i got after installation of the original SC4. I think it's version is: 1.0.230.0 My CDs are original, SC4 a bit old, RH is brand sparkling new. I am running XP Pro Sp2, Pen4 3Ghz, 1G Ram, Nvidia 6600 and a huge Virtual Mem File. Any help/assistant/suggestion is highly appreciated.
