At the top of Mount BAT, you must engage in intense study. And finally, you must create the BAT Mandala. Save it in your mind (remaining as .psd is convenient for further tweaking), and return to us. Originally posted by: Jasoncw Can you show zoom 5 renders? Glamor shots aren't very useful.quote> My bad, here' are strictly sc4 views of the building. This was a request building I'm making, since it won't take long to finish I started part of it when I got burned out on BOA one day. This one I'll develop periodicly, but its not going to be finished anytime soon. Its only going to be worked with when I get exauhsted from BoA. Good news, I got a 85 on my Modern Art test, my car is ok! And I'm going to party all weekend to unwind! -
Barry Sanders was a Detroit Lion Running back in the 90's, he's a legend. He broke several records, and was just an incredible athlete.

Cleaner: Everyone seems to enjoy the base Which I'm glad, because this building has a very boring design and is rather basic. Slim: THanks buddy I'm working hard. My car's transmission is dead. Made some new renders These include the added delivery doors and the entrance with new planters. enjoy -

It looks fantastical. Tampa and Portland have a lot in common besides our block sizes, apparently our city halls are similar -

Not sure what you mean SimFox. I applied it as a bitmap. I can see what you mena about the contrast, I did change the opacity to the layers so it seems a lot different but it deffintly needs to be tweaked in that area. If you are talking about how one side has smaller blocks than the other its because, I messed up when I was making it, and I'm going to go back and fix it. The blocks on the far and right side are too small. SimFox, I am a newb in texturing, I'm a little confused to what you are saying. Can I contact you through an IM? i'm going to a halloween party tonight, and the beach tommorrow, so I probably won't get any work done until Monday. I'm going to make some tweaks in the texture, but also start the mullions. -

Ya, I only had it like that cos its the first render with the texture, so basicly, I haven't gone back yet. About adding a marble texture... How should I do that? Make a pattern? What do you think I should do? Oh and where's my 3dsMax badge? ;-) -
Originally posted by: mindaugas Absolutely my favorite restaurant. I searched the Stex and didn’t find it so figured I would make a request here. Here isa pick of what they look like for the most part. Always brick, but different colors depending on local. Carabba's is owned my the Cooperation OSI, which is based in my city, Tampa. There's an Urban Carabas by my dorm complex, I'll get some picks and work on it, check my BAT thread for updates.

I'm surprised my school didn't get an article. I attend the University of Tampa. Last month, a kid got arrested for having weapons in his room, and earlier that month a bomb threat was made.

Kind of finished with the texture, I have to tweak it, and I noticed that I really only made it for oneside, so I need to continue the texture to wrap around, it won't take long. My next step is to add the mullions. I think it's going to look astonishing once thats added. Slim: Thanks man, Indeed it looks amazing. Scotty: Yeah that specific type of minaret is very rare, and mostly unique to Tampa. The Minaret was brought to Tampa by Henry B. Plant, a New York Rail Road Tycoon who built the Tampa Bay Hotel here in 1893, the city then constructed a courthouse to pay homage to it in 1898, but it was demolished in 1950 to make way for an ugly piece of crap. But I have plans on remaking it. I'm trying to acquire pictures. -
spa you're just way too good at these buildings. I'm so in love with the architectural style and your BAT style. It just looks real. Although this roof texture.... Hah jk.
-
Scotty doesn't know that his building looks awesome. I love the texture in the building on the top of the pag This new building is neat, looks really neat, windows are great. I think some improvements can be made on the texture. Nice job getting that done in an hour. Grater luv represent yo.

Hey guys. I'm back with my new computre, and ready to finish BoA, I still have to install BAT and BAT4MAX, so it might be a few more days before I get to it, but I am remodeling BoA in 3dsMax so it will look better. Take care guys! I AM NOT DEAD! -
FACTS: Tampa Bay Hotel, built in 1893, by H.B. Plant, rail road tycoon from NY. The building is now the University of Tampa. I have 3 classes in there, 2 on the 2nd floor and one of the 4th. The building is the symbol of Tampa. It's official architectural style is Moorish, although it more shows Victorian/Russian than anything else. (The whole building) Inside the tower Base of the Minaret The very Top

They are rather spacious. Since the building was an old luxury hotel, the class rooms are in the old hotel rooms. They are very plain now, but you can see the reminents of the old building. There is usually 2 fire places on each side. The entrances have a huge key hole then a door. I'll take some pictures of an empty class room later. I'm in my french 102 class in the language lab, in a diff building, but I'll show that too. It's the hidden gem of Tampa. Sort of... lol

Friday, I get my new motherboard and I can resume work on Bank of America. I've been bored and wanting to BAT so I started plemuminary work on 100 N. Tampa. It probably will be remodeled again once I get to it, but atleast I have a start. Check it... I 'm not officaly starting this as a project, just working 3dsModeling with it so I can keep my skills sharp, DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE FINISHED WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. This is probably as far as it will go until after BoA is done and SunTrust. You can expect maybe January before I work on it again. -
Nice! IRL Tampa International is one of the highest rated medium sized airports in the USA. This past year it was ranked low due to construction on the Memorial Blvd & Spruce St. interchange into the airport. Very interesting keep up the good work. I know this isn't a recreation of the real Tampa, but it is really representative of how Tampa really is aside from the downtown city area. Incase anyone is wondering what the word Tampa actually comes from... Its an old Calusa Native American word for lightning. Tampa, FL used to be the lightning capital of the world, and we are still quite famous for it... TB Lightning hockey team ;-) Anyways, keep up the good work.

Thanks Ok, so here's whats up. My unofficial College's football team (USF) beat West Virginia, and Tampa went crazy, one of our buildings lit up Green and Gold (one of the ones I'm making) and the Regions Bank building lit up lights to form USF. So Upon completion on my SunTrust bank building (Which was the one that lit up green and gold) I will be making different color combos on the top ziggarat for you guys, and it will be request based. First is Red and Pewter (Bucs Colors) Red White and Blue (USA), Green and Gold (USF) Red and Gold (UT) Blue and Silver (Lightning) and then request. Ok now onto Bank of America, my computer is MIA for awhile, dunno how long. But I've decieded to remodel it in 3dsMax, which will only allow more improvements, however I need to wait until i get my PC back because I'm going to base measurements off of that. Here are some picks I took around 2am on Friday Morning. Platt St. Looking up the Hillsborough River Channelside Parking Garage looking West on Cumberland Ave. Fort Brooke Parking Garage -
