    I am experiencing a similar problem. I just got a new laptop with Vista 64-bit. I had some difficulty getting SC4 to run without lagging terribly, but I think I fixed that problem by running with software renderer. Also, I installed in the regular "program files" folder, not x86. I downloaded and installed RH/Deluxe Update 1. Then I downloaded and installed Network Addon Mod, March 2009. I placed in Owner/Documents/SimCity4/Plugins. When I start SC4, NAM does not run. Any thoughts?

    does anyone know of a less radical cheat? In fact, I'm just looking for a waste to energy plant that can burn more garbage. I don't want to completely eliminate the garbage problem, but I'm looking for something to make it more manageable than the default waste to energy plant. Any ideas?
  3. The only mods I have installed are the Network Admin Mod and the Radius Doubler. It is weird though, because when I zone new residential (or higher density) it will eventually develop (except not into high residential), but it will take forever. Like, my city took probably 3 years worth of time to from 40,000 to 42,000, even though there was plenty of zoning and demand.
  4. I have a similar problem, just on a larger scale. I have two cities in my region. One has a lot of industry jobs, provides all the power, and has roughly 10,000 sims. The other has roughly 42,000 sims. However, in this one I can't get medium density commercial or high density residential to develop. The geographic area of this city is about 90% full. I've got plenty of demand, just not a lot of upward growth. I'm especially surprised I can't get medium density commercial towers to grow. Any thoughts?

    I know I won't see this building in my landmarks, but should I see it (albeit faded) in my rewards? 'Cause I don't see it there either.
  6. I'm sorry to be so NOOBISH, but I have a basic question and I don't want to spend so much time looking for the answer, which I'm sure has already been typed out in numerous places... I downloaded the file for this, and I put all the files from the SC4_files folder in my plugins folder (I tried the one from both My Documents and Program Files). When I started SimCity I didn't notice where the Embankment stuff was... then again, I have no idea where I should be looking. Can someone help me?
