Hey man, I never thought of WalMart to carry this? lol Geez... lol Well It was a total WASTE of money to buy this from EB...but I guess this is just a thing I should have thought of... Thanks man!

So do you think the guy who sold it to EB made a copy of it and thats why it's not working? Because of the CD-Check thing? Like the lable on the CD looks like it's from real EA production...? This is [expletive deleted] though... Is there a way to get the CD-Check thing working? I dont care about registering it with EA...I just want to PLAY! I was waiting for like ever for this and then they finally got one in at EB, but it was used so I said OK and now look whats happening. On my lunch break today I just contacted the guy from EB Games and he said he couldnt help me at all. He said all Second Hand Sales were final and couldnt give me the name of the guy who sold it to him. So... What am I left to do? I'm out 30 bucks (Canadian $$) and the game wont play. BTW my CD drives are working GREAT... in fact the burner is brand new just bought 2 weeks ago...so there isnt any problems with that. So if anyone could help me out on getting this game to work it would be great. Like is the a way to edit one of the files so it stops this Cannot find CD thing because the [expletive deleted] CD is in the drive...it's just not reading it once i select PLAY from the main menu of SC4. Thanks alot for the help guys!

I bought it from EB Games used... and I guess that could be the problem because if I ask EB who they got it from to get the serial...they wont tell me. Damn this is a $%&^!...any one else?

I tried to register my SC4 on their main site...but it said the serial number is already taken...

OK, I tried to reboot the PC STILL didnt work. Tried disk 1 and it loaded the main screen and I selected play and then the same message popped up. I tried putting it in my Burner also and it STILL can't seem to recognize it? It installed fine and everything...it's just now the Application cant seem to find the CD or something? Thanks for the help in advance!

Hey, Just bought SC4 today... have been using SC3k forever and decided to upgrade. Anyways, I followed the instructions and loaded the second disk when the installation was done and it says Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application. I've tried putting both CD's and loading SC4 and it STILL doesnt work. I'm running windows 2000 if it'll help any. But PLEASE could someone help? Thanks a bunch guys!
