Well spa, it is Alaska.... the good news is that the mountains are not overkill. there is plenty of valleys to play on as well. In reality, Alaska doesn't have widespread population anyway, so some rural towns would do nicely. I would like to see someone use this map in a city journal. if you decide to send me a pm. I would like to see what one may do with it. I don't have the time to do what many of you have done with your journals. also PLEASE RATE. thank you.

I used a sat photo i found on the web with a river in it. It was titled Rio Negro, (translated Black River). I don't know where it is though. I left it this way so individually you may soften as you desire. I personally recommend lowering the entire landscape about 3 times to get a nice look. The size is 513 x 513.... 16 Med Cities. -

Version 2, softened the landscape up a bit. This is from a satelitte photograph of Hurricane Fran 1996. She was a Category 4 as it plowed through the Bahamas, and later hit the Carolinas as a Category 3, plowing through the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham area) still as a Category 1. -
