Hi all, maybe this has been suggested before, maybe I will cause outrage in the community, perhaps this is just a good idea. So for 2 nights now i've been trying (unsuccessfully) to download things from the STEX... I wonder if anyone has thought of uploading BATs and Lot's to torrent sites. The benefits are that we all share bandwidth, it's quicker to download large sets of buildings, and the server will never go down. Alas, I only discovered what STEX meant this week (i LOVE it) so the most i can upload is the NAM. So i suppose this thread is asking 2 things. 1. do i have permission to use my bandwidth to distribute the NAM through torrent sites? 2. if so... please can we get together and create many single downloads containing many similar Lot's, maybe A R$$$ high rise pack or Civic buildings selection maybe? It all looks a very nice CJ, but why put so much time and effort into making a city that already exists? surely the idea of simcity was to make new cities with new concepts? When you start making cities using money cheats and ploppable buildings, then your just making a picture and you might aswell use a pen and paper where you don't need to worry about streets that don't go diagonal. nice cj tho could have put the 2 years time and effort into something productive tho, whatever floats ur boat... ah- does this count as off topic?
