  1. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush. Intro Flareflakes - a mineral, commonly used to produce all kinds of fuel. - SimCyclopedia - ...Hey, mom, look. I've found that behind our field. Looks beautiful, eh? Don't you know what's this? It's kinda stone or something... - Oh, yes it looks like a stone. What a beautiful colour! Let's ask your granpa. - Granpa! Can you tell us what is this? What's the name of that stone? - Let's see... Oh, my Lord!!! Where did you get this, kid?!!! - I found that behind our field... There's a lots of them! - Remember, my son, it is a flareflake... We gonna be ritch! I should go to Criquette City... Few months later... - Okay now! The subject of this meeting is... Our own flareflakes mining! Few months ago, we've got the information that on the Borringue Lake, a little boy has found a flareflake at his backyard. I've send our people to check it... after some exploration, we've found a hugest... oh... a hugest flareflake deposite... So! We must start work on the mining as soon as it possible. At this time, nobody knows about it. No one from our rivals knows about Borringue flareflakes... So we must be the first. And this is our chance... Now, here's the deal - - we must construct a branch line till the fishing village, where the flareflake field is situated. While this will be in progress, we also must costruct our mining facility to be able to take out our flareflakes as soon as it possible... So... this is our moment, gentlemen... It is our future!.. * * * Hi every one This is my first CJ Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush. So, the idea of the CJ is not very original. Actually, i think it's not original at all. I'll try to tell the story about a mining camp that finnaly becomes a large and beautiful city. My storytelling skills are too poor, but i'll try to make it as intresting as i can Behind the storyline i'll tell you about region stats, mods i use, and all the gameplay things, that would be intresting to tell about. So, stay tuned to the first update! Cheers!

Woah.. that is beautiful place! I love the way you've planned it out and the colours also looks great
  4. Trixie Awards 2008 Acceptance Speeches

A Trixie?? For mee?? OMG, i'm speechless! Actually, i did expected something like that but in another nomination (there's one TS2 related, congrats RedMist! ) But i didn't expected this kind of nomination! It's so great! I really appreciate that. Thanks everyone for everything You guys really inspire me for more things to do!
  5. Sterling & Lake Champlain Region

wow, Phil, these pictures inspires me alot! I only play with SC4 when creating custom hood maps for S2, but.. the nature is great and the way you lay down the roads is just perfect. Love it. Really.
  6. Member of the Month Awards Ceremony

Oh.. my... god.. !!! This is so unexpected! I've been browsing ST forums and somehow i noticed an award icon below me.. wow.. i'm just amazed! It's so great! Thank you every one my friends! I'm happy with all your words and i'm glad you like my stuff Pity i have less free time last few weeks but i hope i'll get some new stuff soon! Thank you all again!
  7. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush.

Oh, slow progress on Aureliano port area, but still have some more pics of current developing. But some answers first. To Ilikehotdogsalot: I don't know too Thanks! Wow To Pitito21: Oh, thank you! Glad you like it. To Benedict: Oh, thanks man! To Jacqulina: Great that you like this port Jackie! Thank you To Callbat: Oh, thanks! And what you meend boat lots only? Those with piers made from maxis freight platforms? Look... there's a little trick with these piers - it's an underwater lot with lifted props, so i lifted the lakebottom at the appointed level and then i try to catch this level with props by rising them it LE.. kinda bornig because most of the time i need to fix props level to get the right one (i'm running SC4, plop it down, if it doesn't fit i quit, enter LE, fix the level of the props, that run my SC4 again and plop it again and if it does't fit... well ) So in case you'll have these lots, you'll need to rise your bottom, level it, plop the lot, and if it doesn't fit rise the bottom again, level it again and then plop and then and then.. ugh So you still want to have it? To Panthersimcity4: Oh, thank you for this compliment! To Bobinator: Thank you! Concerning this marina - may be it looks a bit cramped but for me it looks as it should be. Since there is a lack of marina custom props over the net and since most of the props are splitted with each other (i meen, it hard to find a good yacht - only a yacht with a pier and other yachts, it's hard to find a good pier, only a piers with different buildings at the shoreside)... and since i don't want to lay my hands on BATool again... this is the best result for me to see in this area To Lucky7: Thanks my friend! To Krbe: Really? That's cool! I should google some Singapore ports pics To Mightygoose: Thank you! And those.. things are from Porkissimo's Paris diagonal BATs - i oftenly use his diagonal ground props for making things like this. So since i didn't batted it, i have some limitations I also think that it's okay with grass under this monorail so.. thanks again To Nardo69: Thank you very mutch! Well, this monorail line will connect port area with Aureliano metro area only - this is one and only proposed monorail line in the whole city at this time. Can't see any problems in connection between city tiles with monorail actually! I'm also planning to use some kind of blank port lots to feed a seaport demand of the city tile so... (backupped ..) To JanYpe: Thank you! To Feliwi: Thanks man! To Joetropian1: Thanks! For me it fits really well in there So! Finnaly few fresh pics of the port area. I've finished some freight mooring, so here it is. Regional ferry: Transregional freight dock and regional gas pier: View to the freight mooring(Transregional freight dock, regional gas pier, small coal dock, small freight pier, port tanks, etc.):
  8. Coulla

Nice use of japan BATs here! The airport is good looking. Cocerning those parking lots - looks like you've get this pic at 1-2 am, Parkings has some cars only after 5-6 am so.. Keep up good work!
  9. ALEXANDRIA VALLEY

Well, i'll be back 100 years later to check out Alexandria huge metropolis Huh, seriously - a good start. I hope there will be a room for these historic areas in future metropolis. Keep it up!
  10. The Greater Terran Region

Hey Haljackey! I like your style man I't great that you don't do a thing with your pics like many people in their CJs (just as i do also.. huh) so we can see exactly what you see in your game. By the way, how did you get this custom resolution in your game? Mine is bad since i've got new wider monitor so ingame picture is stretched from 1600x1200 to 1680x1050 - looks pretty ugly.. So how do you actually get your custom resolution? EDIT: I've find out how to make a custom resolution, so forget it
  11. Aberdeen

Well, it is a nice CJ! Especially I love these farms... the region looks very good even it's not an extraordinary terraforming kinda thing... I like the shoreline also.
  12. Copper Basin, AZ - Mohave Desert City!

Hi there Seemurray! I allways love desert cities in SC4 ( i had one before -was trying to recreate Seagraves, Texas) So Copper Basin looks great! One thing is little bit strange to me - this regional shot - that airport (whitch is great by the way) looks the same size as a city! I hope you'll get more development soon Good luck!
  13. Playmor B.C. Canada

Hey, nice region you have! I love this terrain. Concerning last update - a good park you have out of this farmfield. Since it's a new one i can see why there's a lack of trees there! Hope there will be more trees in this park later
  14. Auburn Valley

Hey Kyle! Great mosaic! And i love these residential areas in your last update - reminds me some Dusktrooper's CJ style Port area is good looking too.
  15. Ogdenville

Well looking CJ! I like when people show realtime transport or planning improvements in their city. Keep it up, man!
  16. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush.

Woah.. So many great comments here! Finnaly i have some free time to give some replies. To Benedict, Simfan34: Thank you, guys! To Lacivian: Thanks man, and cocerning this plaza - it's a custom lot i've made for Aureliano (i'm addicted to lot editing..) To Jacqulina: Thanks, Jackie! Glad you find this stuff unusual To Cjman: Glad you like it and allways wellcome! To Callbat: Oh yes, El Corte Ingles I'm glad you like this CJ and that it remainds you Spain cities.. Concerning custom lots.. there are two issues that strongly keeps me away from sharing these creations: first - these lots are extra custom, most of all was created exactly for one and only place in the city. The second thing - is that these lots has a HUGE number of dependencies.. a lot of.. a bunch of different props and textures from all over the world.. most of the time i don't even know where i've got this prop or texture from.. so.. i'm not yet ready for preparing these lots for uploading To Ky72x: Oh, thanks! These extended avenues are really nice looking, even they more like eyecandy, cause i've created it using another custom lots and they are not transit enabled. Glad you like the plazas Thanks again Kyle. To Petriknl: Oh, they aviable at SC4Devotion LEX, so... To Aleking: Oh, thanks you my friend. Concerning uploading some of my creations - i've already said it - i'm not yet ready to preparing these custom lots for sharing since they have a heavy load of dependencies.. To Lucky7: Thank you my friend! I love espresso too! To Aleko, Jill Jacobs: Thank you guys! To Schulmanator: Ugh.. umm can't remember where i've get from.. To Masochist: Oh, that's so great! Thanks alot! To MCO1254: Oh, i'm sure your work is great too! Thanks alot! To Panthersimcity4, Mightygoose, Seemurray2, Bbfan02 and JasonB52: Thank you my friends! Today i have a few pics of progress to show.. Port area in development. Here it is: See you soon!
  17. Rate one image.

Looks cool, Glenni! I would give you 8/10 Here's mine... From my last CJ update:
  18. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush.

To Krbe: Glad that you find it useful, man Concerning my old CJ posts - that was a big mistake deleting my old posts.. I've delete it more than two years ago so... some bad RLS things.. But i promise - i will not delete this CJ To S_olah: Thank you! Glad you like it. To Simfan34: Your welcome And those diagonal parks i've made by myself in LE using diagonal custom textures that came up with one of texture packs from BSC or may be another team... Can't remember, sorry.. To Vituuu: Thankie To Ky72x: You're right, Kyle! This kind of overpass will look good in industrial areas.. To The_Hutt: Thanks man! To Zotus: Thank you and congrats on your first post To Lucky7: Oh, i'm glad you like this house! Yeah, there are many nice small cafes at the Aurelianeta district, hope you'll have some latte or anything you like from time to time You always welcome! To Jacqulina: Thanks Jackie! Okay, my friends! I have some new pics to show... Many closeups today Right now i'm working on Aureliano midtown - it's network layout, zoning and landmarks. It's not finished yet, but i've allready finished one very important area of the city - Plaza De Borringue. It's a place that is proposed as a historic and geographic center of the city. Surrounded by the shopping malls, offices and goverment buildings, Plaza de Borringue also works as a subway and bus hub. I've also created a nice looking (well for me it is!) wider avenue. I called it Paseo de Nada. And finnaly, i'm really satisfied with a pedestrian area of the city - La Rambla, allthough i have only one part of it - Rambla De Borringue, that leads us to the Plaza de Borringue and.. oh well, i better show you Here you can see the very beginning of Paseo De Nada with an old cathedral on a side: There are many oneway streets in midtown. One of intersections: And here's a place where Diavia avenue starts (it goes diagonally through all the city): Another view of Paseo De Nada: Flyover near the marina and surrounding buildings (connects Paseo De Nada with a Lakeshore avenue): Paseo De Nada leads us from lakeshore to the Aureliano center - Plaza De Borringue. Most important goverment buildings situated here. Such as Aureliano City Hall and Aureliano Hall of Justice. There's also one of the biggest inner city shopping malls - El Corte Japones: Closer view to the area (City hall at the top, El Corte Japones at the left, Hall of Justice at the right): ... a pair of closeups: And in the end of this update, a closer view to the Rambla De Borringue: See you soon!
