Bulldozed custom lot with apparent immortal lot syndrome
fsbuccio replied to fsbuccio's topic in SC4 - Custom Content
Unluckily I have no saved game prior to demolishing this building. I have tried again with others plop building with negative pollution but with no result, even waiting for some year there is not the least change. I think I give up, I'll obliterate the city and start over. I have reported this building, let's hope nobody else falls into this trouble. Thank you all for your suggestions, it was worth trying. -

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried a bit to do it but so far nothing changed. Tomorrow I'll try again when I have more time available. -

@Kel9509 Hello, thanks for your suggestion. I have recalculated the properties with PIM-X with the same results as yours, putting the building in the plugin directory again (I had deleted it after it created mess). I tried then to run the clearpollution, but with no result (I hope I understood well what you suggested). The problem in that this pollution comes from a spot where there is nothing now, the very spot where the "A1 Widget" had grown previously and that I had bulldozed. This "phantom" building gives effects, but is not visible. It is very likely that the offscale properties messed up something; I have not tried to obliterate the city yet, I just tried to bulldoze everything while running the city (without saving afterwards); the effect of the phantom building is still there. If I can't solve this issue I will eventually obliterate it, but I'd prefer to leave this as very last option. I am not sure if this problem is solvable at all. I will report the A1 Widgets lot so that nobody falls in the same situation. -

Hello, the cheat plugin works but after a while the pollution comes back. It persists also if I destroy everything in the city (see pictures). I have not the least idea of why this happens. -

Hello everyone, I have been playing SC4 for a while and recently added some custom buildings taken from other users. I have a quite annoying issue with one of them... it seems someone had fun creating a growable manifacturing industrial lot with huge jobs (5000) and pollution (intensity and radius). I bulldozed it but its effects still remain: pollution is still there and 5000 jobs too (it killed my manifacturing demand). I have read of the immortal lot syndrome and tried to apply the "cure" with no success. I tried to bulldoze it with God mode (with the alt+ctrl+shift trick) but it did not work. Even if I bulldoze the entire city it remains a radius of pollution as if coming from an invisible lot. I can freely build on these tiles another building or landmark, but nothing changes, pollution is still there. I have run out of ideas. I'd be grateful to anyone who has a suggestion; I attach a picture and the source of the custom lot. Thanks!
