POPULATION UPDATE: Western Lands. So I have been working on Western State and Northern State. Can't wait to show you pictures of the finished products. Still many roads and stuff to connect, but most of the towns are done in Western State. Still a lot to do in Northern State. Here is a official census release of all the towns so far in both states that make of Western Lands. Ranked by size. Biggest to smallest. Creston City, Western State. Creston City is one of Western State's oldest cities and one of the largest. The city was settled back in the early 1800s and finally incorporated in 1849. Ever since then, outsiders have from around the world have moved into this international city. Many times called "Mini New York" or "NYC of Western State." During the 1850s, miningand industry prospered. In 1900, major factories were constructed along the waterfront. In 1904, the first official skyscraper was built at 14 stories tall. It is the Wodson Building still standing today. In 1940, the Lewis Trade Building was built and still stands as the cities tallest building to this day. As industry declined in the 1960s and 1970s, most business grew downtown as people moved in for different types of jobs. The late 1970s opened up new industrial jobs more inland in the suburb of Mill Town. Small residential homes still encircle the cities highrises, but new zoning is allowing for higher buildings in old residential zones. Creston City is filled with historic buildings from the 1800s and 1900-1940s. Lots of New York style building and bustling thoroughfairs. It is the biggest city in southern Western State. Today the population stands at around 1,123,005 people in the city proper. The Oxborough University is within the city limits and remains one of the oldest universities in the state. Tamany Park is also a famous landmark here and Clocks Road, a major thoroughfair filledwith business and shopping, known by tourists. The Creston City Docks have really gotten smaller over recent years, due to the fact of industry decline on it's waterfront. Industry has moved inland and is now in one of the bussiest trainyards in the state in Mill Town to Creston City's north. Bronze Point, WS. Bronze Point, WS is in the lower southeast region of Western State. It is the county seat of Southern County. It has a very vibrant history of being a town, and always as a major shipping center. It is the last southeastern stop before you hit open ocean. The diversity make up of Bronze Point is below Western State Average, in that it's jobs are mostly lower income, related to industry, and shipping. Today, the town of over 3,000 still boasts a large shipping center for foods, and supplies. Also the largest Russian population in all of Western State at nearly 10% of the people. The town recieves many days when the cloud cover is all grey. Rest of the year see's partly sunny days and rare all clear days. Back when the town was founded, it was a small port town for masted ships to stop at. It then became a large timber port and producer in the mid 1850s. A train station was even built at the time, but now abandoned with no sign of it ever being there. When timber production stopped in 1910, then ship building became the towns new passtime. At the towns peak, a estimated 5,000 people lived in it. During this peak time of the town, it recieved the official town name of Bronze Point due to a small lighthouse, no longer standing, that used to be on the point. It provided a bronze light through the fog to sailors. Within it's last gasp for notoriety, the town started the fishing indusrty after building boats ended after World War II. Over time, more communities grew and left Bronze Point, isolated on it's far out of the way point of land. It's population shrank during the 1960s until it leveled off and has remained at around 3,000 since 1990 to present 2007. Today the town serves as a small port for supplying goods to the region and still hasl arge container ships come into it's natural deep water port. Bronze Point during a nicer day. The town is virtually isolated. It is many miles down a two-lane road to the nearest highway. It is real far away from any major city, so it is actually considered a big town for the southeastern portion of Western State. The northern Ports of Bronze Point.

Pinewood, WS. The growing community of Pinewood is on the verge of farmland and forested land. The town is nesteled between hillsides on both sides and farms to it's north, with woods at it's south. It is home to the Pinewood Raceway which gets major races few times a year by top racing leagues. The town has a small airfield also for regional work to pick people up for races. The towns biggest job postings are for the racetrack, airport, and the business the town racks in from avid racefans. Also farming as said is major here. It serves as a major town in the farm country and supplies farmers in the area with all they need. Morning shot of Pinewood. Trains run through Pinewood and the farming valley gather all the crops from local farms. The town of Pinewood. Pinewood nestled in the hillside. Pinewood Raceway and the Pinewood Regional Airport. Pinewood Raceway is a modern road coarse facility with lights to light the track up even at night. Hosts many events other then racing too including concerts and car shows. Charity events also, like the "Lap Track" event that raises money for hospitals. People walks around the track all day for that event raising money.

Here are some town updates from Western Lands. Get to know the town life. Some big cities coming soon. Here is a update from a small town called in the region. When the final renders of the region appear, it will be lower middle right of the whole Western Lands regional map. South of the town of Dachell. About 10 minutes from Daschell. So this town is not isolated at all. It has no "chain" stores, but Daschell can supply for all the towns needs. Daschell would be a "big" city for this part of the region. Freeway runs by town, a few minutes off freeway. Road leading north of town takes you to old scenic Highway and the town of Clifftown and even more remote towns and villages on Western State's east lower east coast. Webber, WS. Webber is a small town over 1,000 people. It used to be a the start/end of a major rail line. Now it just houses many old unwanted trains. A few older model passenger trains keep their engines running incase modern trains around the region break down and need a temporary replacement. One passenger train leaves and returns each day from the town of Webber. Main job sources now are industrial, for loading trains. Webber is still a main area for frieght trains that supply the lower valley and the farmlands that are in the valley and plateau. Webber train yard buildings. Main Street in Webber. Those are real old updates, here is the latest work in Westernlands and what is now called Western State. There is also Northern State and Eastern State, which I am working on. Expect more updates in coming days if possible. Lots to catch you up all on. These updates are on my current website. Emmerson City is my newest city I created today(8-5-07). Population Realistically: 640,000 city proper. Over million in metro area. Emmerson City is a very modern city with a large diverse population. It is a higherclass to mid-wealth average class city. It's summers are average and winters cloudy to rainy. An American Northwest climate to be precise. A very high tech city in areas and a major seaport. Emmerson International Airport and freeways connect the city to the world. Train tracks too. A very elborate bus system runs through the whole city. 3 Major schools in the city and many hospitals along with a large Medical school. Very large Asian Population and a nice sized International district. Below is info from each district of the city. Chelsey- Home to old historic city landmarks and some hip urban shopping. Also usually looked at as a gateway to the Magnolia Forest State Park. Rose Gardens- Home to many young school students at the local school. Rosewood is one of the large schools in the city and most of the population in this district attends school there. Magnolia- The urban sprawl of the city home to generic name brand stores and supercenter shops. Home to parking lots and cheap shopping. Rhodendron Mall is located here. over 350 stores in the mall. Central- The oldest part of Emmerson City is the Central District which is no longer the center of the city. Central is filled with old historic buildings now all converted to shopping and apartments. It was the old downtown to the city because of it's location right next to the train tracks. Now a hip area for people to live and easily shop in one easy district. Woodlyn- The sleepy single homesteads of average living people. Not rich, not poor, just average, but conviently located next to major shopping centers and schools and good hospitals. Banks- Banks is a high wealth section of the city filled with high wealth shops for the people living in Bank Heights District. Bank Heights- Wealthy homes dot the forested land and waterfront. Amazing views of the Emmerson City skyline can be seen here. Also the Richardson Acedemy school is located here. Montwood- Used to be a industrial now converted to a entertainment center for the city. Large stadium for the Emmerson City football team and Convention Center located here. New watefront condos by Dry Docks. Chinatown- Officially the Asian hub of Emmerson City. All the Asian food and stuff you could want will be found in Chiantown filled with Vietnamese food and Chinese and other Asian stuff. Tacoma- The name of the area given to the train yard outside of the Tacoma Docks. Emmerson City's main trainstation, Liberty Station, is located here. Tacoma Docks- The major seaports of Emmerson City are located here to transport goods and get in goods. One of the major seaports on the coast. Rocky Beach- Hip urban area of high wealth and home to the Rocky Beach School. One of the biggest in the city. Also the Emmerson Medical School is here along with the city's biggest hospital. Downtown- Home to all the business in Emmerson City and all the tallest buidlings. Businessmen work here daily. The city runs 24/7. Westwood- Downtown shopping at it's best. Westwood is home to many hotels were businessmen come to stay or tourists who want to be in the big city. Great views of the city at night and day can be seen in these hotels. Okay, really. Based on the "lone" picture I've seen, I'm greatly disappionted. Why do all the building look like their from Europe in the olden days. The house has a hay covered roof it looks. Everything looks old, and then to make it stranger, a more modern looking theme park is there. There are a few cars and absolutely no pedestrains. The streets are empty. It's all too cartoony... and the old style buildings scare me. The skyline has no towers, just steeples and domes. Whats up with this? Hopefully it's just one style of many styles you can build with, like build American cities or European cities, or something, but from this image I am saddened. Please don't let us down. I know the creators have worked hard, and I hope they become success's, but this does not look like their success so far. I'm sorry to say that is looks not so good from that image so far. Lets get more screenshots and info about the game before we keep saying bad things, or good things though.

Thank you. I've got tons of downloaded buildings, look at previous updates. I used to do seawalls, but then I lost them somewhere, and I can't find them. They were a gray Marrast seawall. I've tried downloading new versions, but they don't work as good. :-/ Thank you for the comments all.

Portview. Population: 545,004 Portview is a medium sized city with a lot og growing potential. One could say it is much like Portland, Ore. It's got a mid sized skyline, and its commerical center is booming now. It's got a large mall and shopping distrcit. Also has many higher class homes.

Midtown. Population: 353,799 Metro Area: 4,589,260 Midtown is in the middle of a large metro area. It's more of a residential area for slums, but there is alos a large finiancial district. It's skyline connects with the larger cities beside it. It is in area were traffic gets real bad between the cities.

Cormick City. Realistic Population: 535,500 (Metro: 1,000,011) Cormick City is an old world type of industrial city on the east coast of a region. It is currently under a revival boom, after years of neglect. New highrises are being built across the city. They are vevitalizing the city's core with newer buildings intermixed with the old. There is a supreme subway system.

Gatesburgh. Population: 70,487 (Metro: 120,536) Is a mid sized town on the out skirts of a larger metro area. It serves as a commerical hub for its area. Rail runs by the town, and a highway. Traffic not a big issue here.
