Marty take a walk into any Apple retail store and they have a wall of software. I just bought a copy of SimCity for the Mac as I was sick of either booting up a PC or running bootcamp. Just bought it like a couple of weeks ago. I run 10.4 btw so I don't know about the 10.5 issues. I just think 10.5 caused too many problems to upgrade. I am on a Macbook Pro btw. It runs fine with an occasional crash. I ran the beta Universal update and THEN ran the 1.02 update. I think it is more stable than running it the way they suggest which is to run the 1.02 and then the Universal update.

It would be hard to say. I think there are good and bad examples of all different styles. I will agree though, that building is seriously ugly.

Zip is a built in function of OSX, so that would be fine really. Rather than them needing to create 2 installers. Actually can you even create a mac installer with a PC?

Considering it took 2 days for anyone to even notice the post. I wasn't implying this isn't a nice site and all, I really meant no disrespect, but the lack of straight info on the mac side is frustrating.

Edited for flamability. This is ridiculously frustrating. Has anyone considered a Mac only sim city website to compile of of this info into one place? Such as this forum? Anyone interested in starting something like this, PM me. I have all the hosting we would need, I wouldn't have all of the time needed to run it though.
