Ulvoybridge - Semi-functional This uses a lot and Glenni's Ulvoybridge model to simulate a bridge in-game rather than just be a decorative prop. With some careful modification to the lot properties, the game can be tricked into simulating a functional bridge. There are a few draw-backs, though these are common to all 'transit-enabled' lots. It is a street bridge, and will not allow freight trucks to cross. Buses, pedestrians, and cars can cross. The capacity is set at 400. Feel free to adjust any of these. The maximum slope has be set to 9000. This should be sufficient for most crossings, however, if the terrain too steep dialogue shows, increase both maximum slope before foundation and lot maximum slope with iLive's Reader.exe or SC4Tool (NOT IN LOT EDITOR, IT WILL CHANGE SOME SETTINGS ALLOWING BRIDGE TO FUNCTION!) ========== IMPORTANT: ========== In order for the bridge to behave properly, the two tiles end tiles on each side of the bridge MUST be completely flat and equal level on both sides of the bridge. To achieve this, I recommend first building a real bridge on the span and leveling the surrounding tiles to the bridge height by placing road tiles individually. The bridge must be placed on land, but does not need to cross water (i.e. you can cross a ravine or plop water with the bridge. The span is fixed, and the bridge totals 12 tiles long with a maximum span of 8 tiles. Unfortunately, because the original model was designed as a decorative prop rather than for this purpose, cars and pedestrians cannot be seen crossing. This is because the LOD was not designed to show this, and it continues to exclude items physically within the LOD. With proper adjustments to the model, this could be fixed. RSW (Edit: er... Ft. Meyers, or SW FL Regional) has concourses, so there is no gate 7 per se, and PVD would be my first guess too, but there's a gap between to the right of gate 7 as you look at the terminal from runway before (what I presume to be) gate 8. I'm thinking that the hint is that one or more airlines pictured no longer serves the airport. The list of airports served by Express Jet, Chautauqua, and Freedom Airlines (respective operators of ERJs for Continental Connex and Delta Connex) and Southwest is short maybe 5 airports (where adjacent gates are possible). And of those none seem to match the gate arrangement. Edit: kinda a long-shot guess, but RDU perhaps? Before the new terminal....and I guess it's by no means a 'smallish' airport.

It certainly is not Boston, however, because to get 4 jetblue gates in a row, we get a view across water to homes. Obviously not whats in pic 3. That said, the pic dates between 2005-2007 because there are E-190s in there and the pic was used for a news story in Jan 08. Also, the sun cannot cast that short of a shadow in Boston because the shadows would be slightly to the south based on the Gate positioning. I don't think that any other airport has the number of jetblue gates and also has snow. For it to be JFK, it looks like the pic was a north-viewing photo. In this case, the sun suggests it's probably about 8-9 am, which agrees with JFK's rush-hours. Without that, you would not have 4 consecutive gates used. Unfortunately, google maps satalite photo of JFK is almost perfectly vertical, so I can't see the distinguishing characteristics of the rather unique looking building. Go look at Google Maps to see each building clearly, but you can see that if the far E-190 were being pushed back, the pic lines up perfectly and matches as above. I don't think there's much chance that 3 is anywhere but JFK Edit: Oh, also, if it's not DAL or MDW, it can only be BWI for 1. And just to register another guess for 2, is it AUS or SAT?

Is #2 Nellis AFB, ABQ, Santa Barbara, or ELP? They're the only ones I can think of. I'm fairly certain it's not COS or old Stapleton because I don't recognize the mountains.

You could narrow that down to 1-2 by looking at the foliage.

Well, the photo is west-facing. Because the Nav lights are illuminated while the sun is still up and prior to the aircraft's departure, the captain expects it to darken. If it were morning, the pilot would not be operating them. BNA matches the terminal and topographical layout, but...apparently, it is not the largest in TN. BDL matches topo and building layout too, but Skywest doesn't fly there and as best I can tell, hasn't. DSM kinda fits the description, but has the wrong terrain around it. And SEA fits everything except the juxtaposition of the UAL and DAL aircraft ...beyond that, I'm spent on ideas. Edit: Oh, CLE
