I think you get actual Sky Scraping towers after you hit 1,000,000 pop. I get very un lucky with Sim City it seems. Ive built 3 cities before my current one, which is my 4th. All prevous three were lost in reformating. However I have 700,000 pop region right now, and I do believe once you get 1,000,000 regional pop youll see larger buildings. My largest city 250,000-Meduim size.

Well, Industry is bad mr. However I have seen different buildings pop up. Dirty Idustry will eventualy morph over to wood processing. Which I think is a High Density factory. As for High Tech and Manufactoring, Idk if there is a High density building for them, but Im sure there is.

You dont need industry. For New York my suggestion is to build up 1 city and then spread out form there. pick an area, smaller the better btw (traffic accumalates faster, and highwealth commercial likes traffic), start your city ect ect. Then go to a neigher, quickly plop down roughly 1,000 industrial jobs. The Pollution stays in that region, and the traffic created form regional traffic is good for commercialism. Commute isnt minded too btw.

Well a typical newb mistake is to make to much Industry. Commercialism ftw. Youll get Commercial Office buildings thatll spike your RCI real high. Commercial Office Buildings like traffic, 1000cars+ btw, so a neighbor to trade traffic with is always helpful.

I dont fully understand the art of a Rail City. Rail Roads are a pain in teh ars. so u c, I either have no usage, or I have 20,000ppl trying to commute via rail. Now in the Expansion they did Elevated rail, which is worthless in capacity, and they did Monorail, which has the same capacity so its worthless. FERRIES FTW.

Well Industry, I hate industry however I shall help you. The little roads on the Car and Passenger Ferries can be connected to main roads. I forget what happens if you dont do it, buts its a way to traffic the ongoing with the departing if yekn wha I meen

Well I can only make a good city when I have a river to work with. Ferry systems for me are l33t. However your problem may be that your trapping different income's in where they cant get a job. If you havent built a way to connect them like a Car&Passenger Ferrry or a bridge then its very typical. However if you have a bridge/ferry and things are still going to $%&^!, Id suggest making sure your avenues are working correctly. Ex: Avenues that connnect to a neighbor city need a road as a turn around or people will abandon due to commute times. And if youve done all that then rebuild your roads ?

Shonobi is the wrost game ever becuase. When it was about to come all the Mags and online sites said that Shinobi would revulotionize gaming becuase of its stylish play and advances controls and then when it came out everyone gave it 8.0 and 7.5 and really they were just covering their butt becuase they gave a crapy game all this free publiticy about how good it was and then it sucked. Now the reasons why it sucked. All you need to do was Slash Slash Jump Walk on walls. Oh look theres a ditch and you fell in it. Your in a city and theres a bottomless pit and theres more then one, they are ever 5 feet, I mean where are the City Inspectors? Then as you go on theres no damn checkpoints so you have to do the same annoying crap over and over.

Ive found that Maxisland/Timbuktu makes for a real challenge. My style is start in the corner and then when you have enough capital I build the rest of my layout through how the Highways fall.
