Thank you all for saying these kind words. Laying out a grid can be tedious, but I am on to a new grid just today. THis only took 1 hour to lay out, but the NAM is definitely not present or this would have taken nearly two hours to lay down, as the NAM slows down the construction of transit a bit. In this one, I have replaced the avenues with one-ways. This may interfere with exact and equal placement of hospitals, schools and civil works, but time will tell.

Everyone saw that cartoony SIMs appearance and assumed that was it, but that was just one social style they showed. Morrowind or Oblivion will give you that game playing ability also, but with a very rich, 3D enviroment and very complex A.I. Which kind of takes me back to SCS. SCS is like building a cultured city. So I invision a city game that will let me build a morrwind type city or even a SC4 type city, or even a sims type cartoony city, or an educated city with cap and gown wearing citizens. Spin-off? Yes, but many are failing to realize that this all started in the mind of Will Wright. Will Wright's vision of simulation has a fifth installment and it evolved to the obvious next level for SC5 and he calls it SPORE. simulated evolution to tools, to cities to conquering the whole universe. SPORE IS SimCity 5. Spore is the continuation of his singular dream for a game. 33 minutes in: Lightning struck the tree, but the bolt must have hit his power lines. This causes a power surge to go through every line in the house. Any line with a capacitor to absorb the surge will not be affected. Anything that has no surge protection will be fried and yes, it will melt the console or even a plastic TV incasing, or telephone. 38 minutes: and it was not too great. 3 stars out of 5.

The community still reads this and I feel honored. However I am still experimenting with several designs, refining, etc. My recent cities are more like one big diamond within a square. Busing is still the supreme way to handle massive amounts of commuters, but have recently been trying some alternating modes of transportation. Cuahtemoc: As for the best commercial, I still haven't decided, but turn your sims into brainiacs and they will build your corporate world tall enough. Industry is easier to figure out. the checker board zoning technique is mathmatically logical for equal balance of trees and parks vs. high tech industries. Your beginning industrial sector will look like a yellow and green checker board. Be sure to put the bus stops, utilities, civil service buildings and the not so desirable things, in the park and green blocks. This enables the zoned blocks to be 6x6 solid, with no obstacles to its growth, within that city block. This same technique works rather well for high rising residential buildings too, or commercial for that matter. Massive industrial: go all high tech and solid yellow, adding just enough medium sized parks to maintain consistant high tech industries. ..And so goes it SkiGeek. The U and ME and I for THEE, of it all. Recently, our local newspaper launched a CHAT forum and guess what? We started an "Our House Of Worship" thread there also. Sure enough, it turned into an embroiled debate and argument fest, pitting long time forum friends against each other and completely changing the ambience of the whole community. Frendo posts a Bible lesson there, every Saturday. Many members look forward to that post and make public requests for the next intriguing addition. Others come in simply to scoff and insult the believers. Think of this thread as this communities Virtual CHURCH. How many of you make it a point as unbelievers to show up on Sunday to ridicule or argue with the pastor, while the congregation looks on?

Many musicians are closing down their official band websites, in favor of a My Space page, because they are getting much more attention and exposure that way. Sony, BMG, Victory, MegaForce records and nearly all of the biggest record companies are shopping MySpace for new talent. I not only read about it, I am a big part of it. Have messaged back and forth with reps, from many of the biggest recording moguls. Crash Music out of Texas: Their publicist and I, chat frequently, almost daily and he has admittedly used my page to find fresh new music on the horizon. Have gotten several of my bands on my rossiter, to produce master CD's and then I promote them to these companies in the hopes of a recording contract. Yes, a few have even gotten signed. Several are now getting airplay on internet radio daily. I have made instant friends with radio DJ's in 5 states and we are working on producing Metal music videos for independent music broadcasts. Am now the manager of two bands, but in a minor capacity. Sharing the work load with partner management. I get 10% of net for my part. A very challenging and rewarding part I might add. Those who haven't got a MySpace page, should probably try it out long enough to really see how it works. If you are a musician, anywhere in the world, this could be very important. P.S. Sony/BMG are no longer accepting Demo CD's from bands wishing to get signed. many others are following this lead. This means you must get signed through your on-line content only! Presskits must be sent via online uploads or thru MySpace referrals. Musicians and bands will eventually need blog pages to be heard or even gain a contract.

Was doing my usual daily search, looking for new and bold music and came across BAGHEAD from, Pittsburg PA. This is one of those bands, that when you discover them, you feel like kicking yourself for not already knowing they existed. They are just that great! My first listen to their track called, Subliminal Control inspired me to right this comment on it; "Wait just a minute,...can I actually rate a song better than 10plus?!?! This is totally brand new, fresh and original. While we are at it, add in exceptional instrumental arrangement, tactful intro and build-up! We have finally landed in metal heaven and where else, but the <i>steel capitol</i>, Pittsburg PA. Yee-eah boi." IN HELL HELP ME is a melodic starter and another favorite at The Cryb. IN HELL builds up power like a dependable, cold winter start. The intro has a dominant guitar rhythm, with a very creative backing melody, that sets you up for a thrashing and leaves you wanting more. Josh's percussions in this track, gallop with power and puts me in mind of a Ford Mustang, with a big block Hemi, going 60mph, never failing to ignite the fires. Baghead have it where it counts in every respect of my lame metaphorical description, plus more. I think we have found the next group of musicians that will defintitely have a chance to reach the ears of the world. This is serious thrash metal guys and Baghead aim to give us an awesome experience in music. Did I try to book them? Finally building into something made of all out, scream metal lunacy and with taste no less. You could even say, the 10 Days track is reminescent of Alice Coopers flambouyant arrangements, but definitely with a stronger, maniacal vibe, that is all Pulse8.

MARAZENE My Space: MARAZENE from Chicago Illinois Sitting here listening and writing,...It can be hard to write while banging your head on the keyboard, but what the hell,.....bx x b, vb, fbv, fd fvf bf fv vv v bfv b vbf fbv vb vc vb vb vbv bang that!! Marazene! The primal ingredients of industrial metal stepped up a notch, with a bit of gritty metal worked hard and stressed to the max. You can almost smell the rust oxidizing in the heat and sweat going into Marazenes performance. They have managed to bring out the best qualities of industrial sound and match it up perfectly with the speed and energy of core metal, making a whole new experience for the ears. Xecute This one has got to be the best industrious intro, I have heard in quite awhile. Starting up with a crescendo of effects that move into the most kick ass percussions and more steam pipe effects fall in, along with steel and hammer. Listen close you will see what I mean. Great vox and backing effects make this one supra-sensational. Self Worth is another track, that successfully combines industrial with an excellent in your face build-up, right into full throttle, all barrels blazing metal. The lead vocals are the real power that puts this song in top gear. NOW ON TOUR, Supporting MUSHROOMHEAD from Cleveland Ohio!!
