Nice work Tahill79 I am still using PS CS2 and Illustrator CS2. Also working in the newspaper and advertising industry, which is how/where I discovered Photoshop originally. I may have said this before in a similar topic here at Simtropolis(My Space)- It's the appeal of establishing a web identity, or not if you prefer. Facebook is awfully first person oriented, but some of these social sites can be about anything and it doesn't really have to be all about you. You can still maintain your privacy. It's like Geocities, or GoDaddy free versions, only better features, more space, ability to advance code and people actually look at these personal website, unlike the older fare. You could spend your money building a website for music, for example =) In the end, it rarely gets looked at, unless you are someone like Pink Floyd, or Aerosmith. It's completely the opposite for places like MS, MY, CT, LFM, FB, etc. So what if it is childish? Try to loosen up and have fun with these type sites You can post 100's of photos in several photo albums, post videos, write blogs, play games, socialize, publicize, load your music, design your own tables, fonts, backgrounds, avatars, links, polls, groups, forums and on and on. I think it has alot to do with the diverse features that you have to play with, that draw people into these social networks.

It's a type of malicious software that invades all your 'My Documents' folders and all sorts of mucking up. I had something just like it, posing as an anti-virus and my daughter thought it would be cool to install Had to reformat the disk to eliminate it. SpyBot or AVG couldn't get rid of it.

Hello everyone! Long time no me I am just a staff member at Abandonia, but they work very closely with the copyright holders of these games. I am the one who suggested they hook up with Dirk in the first place. Actually, I mentioned Simtropolis many times, as I am very fond of this website, so it was indirect casual plugging, you might say. It is obvious that MAxis/EA are not going to make any more moneys from games that are considered abandonware. If you already own SC2000, that is all good. This is however a very nice stepping stone, to learning how citybuilding simulations workand may make it easier for new Simizens to graduate up to SC4 and CitiesXL style games. There are plenty more abandoned games available at Abandonia. SC2000 is just one of many, many choices. SimAnt, SimFarm, SimEarth, etc.,etc., are all available for free download at Abandonia. The game will play on any OS, including Vista/WinXP/Linux/MAC. I help test many of these game titles, so I am sure it works. Abandonia provides links to DosBox v0.72, which will allow you to play these older games on any operating system. Their are also a few other DOS emulators linked and available at Abandonia and they are all FREE! All is well, and all is okay. @hamsterTK: It would be great if you could help out! Thank you! Same here- I Dl'ed the files and prompted DosBox to run the game, but never tried to install from my hard CD to Vista. I do have SC2000 on my XP computers though and it works just fine on that OS, as well as my Win2000 PC, of course

I am still not sure what I am. lol. physically male. Married, two daughters and one grand child on the way- in about 7 months. I love my wife and prefer girls, but I despise male company, macho activities and man talk. I prefer to cook, decorate the house, discuss girls hobbies and styles, share recipes and relate much better with the women I know. Okay here goes and please, nobody get too upset- My wife thinks, I am a lesbian. I am inclined to agree, because I do not fit anywhere else. lol.
