Wow, one very neat and tidy city you got there MB. Very realistic as well!

The South Eastern Freeway is actually a lot younger than was mentioned. The freeway was constructed in the 1970s from just past Eagle on the Hill up to just past Murray Bridge, where cyber lives. In the late 1990s the freeway was upgraded between Crafers and Glen Osmond, with the construction of the Heysen Tunnels (shown in the pictures above) and a new section of freeway from where it used to begin and the intersection of Glen Osmond, Mt. Barker, Cross and Portrush Roads. Before this went on, the highway between South Eastern Freeway and Glen Osmond was notorius for accidents, especially at a very well known bend that was once called Devil's Elbow.

Looks like the project is going very well. The population you have now is pretty accurate as to the area that you have covered. I never knew that South Road had skyscrapers along it though.

For garbage I suggest that you have each city deal with it's own through recycling centers like the SA Government always suggests, but still hand the trash around to one landfill in one city if the cities can not deal with their own. For power plants, try making one city the main spot where the power is produced, but place some power plants in the location of where real sub-power plants (is that their names?) are located.

Great to see someone doing my hometown. Would love to see how it turns out. The Adelaide City area looks huge compared to the surrounding area than it does in real life! Don't forget to include the tram line to Glenelg from Victoria Square or the rail lines to Gawler, Port Adelaide and Grange (Woodville), Belair (Urrbrae) and Noralunga and Tonsley (Plympton). Got any ideas on how to do the O-bahn? The following buildings I suggest to be made for Adelaide in BAT: Santos House Grenfell Centre City Central Tower 1 There's probably more that I have forgotten.

Here is my request: Central Station in Sydney. Platforms 1-15 have tracks which terminate at the station. Platforms 16-23 have tracks which continue from the Redfern (southern end) end to the City Circle (northen end). Platforms 24 and 25 are located underground directly beneath the above ground platforms. No more capacity problems with stations with only 2 or 4 platforms.

And growing. And growing. And... ah, you get the idea. It's quite a suburban-oriented city, with 4 million people, Sydney already has suburbs stretching up to 80km (!) inland. Marrast, would you be able to construct a road over avenue overpass, or any overpasses that requires one road to pass over another? I've started using your underpasses and they look great.

Carlching, try adding some of the residences that sit on the side of the hill on Hong Kong Island, along with The Peak. That might help spark growth.

Carlching, I do live in Adelaide's eastern suburbs. Hong Kong is a city that is one of the most interesting to me, since many of my relatives and parents came from there. I know it almost off by heart.

Starting to look much like the real Hong Kong. One thing though, the real population of Hong Kong is nearly ten times more. If only there was a Central Plaza, International Finance Center, The Centre or Peak Tower.

ROFL!!! Some smart drivers in that city there! Can someone explain to me: Why is it that some buildings in my commercial city show the paths of commuters, yet another heap in the same area say that there are no commuters, yet shown to have workers? A few of these buildings recently abandoned after I started creating some residential areas on the other side of the city (it is large sized BTW). It might be related to this, though it could also be low demand (it occurs sometimes). On the edge of the commercial parts of my city, it shows that all transportation methods in and out of the city are congested, and then about 10-20 tiles into the city, the roads suddenly go straight into the green. The only exception is near where one ferry is placed.
