dirk: Change Is Coming (to Simtropolis) Version 6.0!
Eastwinn replied to Craig-Abcvs's topic in Simtropolis Related
Check the run folders in your registry, Boggy. You've definitely caught something. Hopefully it's not the impossible-to-remove thing I had before. Viruses are so frustrating. -
Ok, how about a normal picture tomdapom?

beebs @ Chichen Itza.quote> ...I hate you. Nah, just kidding. That must of been sweet in person. tomdapom:

Makes me wish I was actually photogenic in one way or another besides smiling like a complete idiot . Nice pics guys.

Whatcha gonna do with all dat junk inside yo hard drive?
Eastwinn replied to Duke87's topic in General Off-Topic
Duke: I have 20.5 gigabytes of music, yet I only have 5700 files. Pretty interesting. Not a mystery though because most of my music was either ripped losslessly from a CD or in a 320 kbps *.mp3. -
I know that's what you meant The point is that these images are being distributed widely to countless users. Users that don't even know what a browser cache is. That doesn't sound a whole lot like ownership to me.
-
I was happy doing that back before I was too stubborn to use Firefox. Not exactly sure why I didn't switch, considering how much I advocated PNGs. Note: All avatars uploads should be PNG in ST 6.0.

Wait, the server isn't still a toaster? -
Originally posted by: Duke87Anyone can save it to their hard drive.quote> More like, everyone will save it to there hard drive. The data to view it isn't coming out of thin air; it needs to be downloaded somewhere along the line. So I agree, the thought that anyone could possibly own it is crazy. I think that facebook should just nip this in the bud quickly by claiming everything uploaded on their site as theirs in the TOS. That way, no one will create disputes over ownership.

Correction: IE users who are too lazy to Right Click -> View Source, Ctrl+F, type in a few words from the post hit find, find the URL and paste it in the address bar. Or, of course, yes, you could just save it as a high quality JPEG, but the PNG compression system is much more efficient, especially when it comes to losslessnessity (made that word up).

Anyone ever watch the show Ace of Cakes on the Food network? They make cakes a lot like this for people. It's actually filmed incredibly close to me.

SkiGeek: That Mold Master is kind of funny and alien to me. I look to my right and outside of the windows plus 100 feet or so is a shop filled with a couple massive (MASSIVE) injection molding machines and you show me an injection molder the size of a tissue box.
-
In Photoshop: Use the save for web feature. In Paint Shop Pro: Use the Export as JPEG feature. That fixed the problem for me a while back.

Duke: Aw well. Traditional demotivators, the ones that play directly on the style of actual motivational posters, don't normally contain horrible language and I think those are the funniest of the bunch. Interchange: Yes, it has to be. I saw that picture and straight-up "lmoa'd" for 5 minutes and then called my sister down so she could to do the same. Hilarious. I'll find some good ones later and post them.

I feel bad now because my username doesn't have any numbers in it. No fun . 0100010101100001011100110111010001110111011010010110111001101110 is just a little long winded.

Wait, nominations are over? Snap! I missed my chance to submit! Now I feel like such a bad member .

I'm a little late to the party but here nonetheless. I joined (I think.). You'll probably only see me playing CS:S.

I have a Yamaha Classical acoustic guitar and an original American Peavey Predator. It's white. I'm yet to play a guitar that I like better than it. Pictures later (I'm sick as a dog.).

The jpeg noise on your CML is priceless Duke. I say we keep that label on him. Nothing like using *.jpeg with less than 256 colors, eh?

Originally posted by: BlondeTwiggyI'm reading a collection of short stories by Edgar Allen Poe. The last one I read was "Thou Art the Man." Macabre and grotesque, to be sure, but makes for great reading. The only one I couldn't quite stand was "The Black Cat," when he gouged the cat's eye out. I almost cried. quote> The Black Cat is my favorite short story by Poe, besides another one whose name I can't remember. It had the work "masque" in the title. It's about a disease forcing people into a castle, where they decide it was fitting to have a party until some mysterious man appears. It was just awesome. I read it back in 7th grade. Right now I'm about half way through Slash's autobiography. It's very interesting. I also want to find The Shawshank Redemption, seeing as it is my favorite movie.

All affected Zunes should now be functioning assuming their batteries have completely drained. -

Congrats! -
Funny, it's quite a bit smaller than before despite no visible quality lost. Also, is this rotate 180o degrees day or flip vertically day? I flipped SimHoTToDDy's avatar vertically instead of rotating it.

Real life sucks, don't it? Sorry to see you have to resign, N_O_Body.
