I originally had SC 5 working fine on my laptop which was running Windows 8.1. I then upgrade Windows 10 and for a couple of weeks everything worked well, I thought the resolution was even better than before. Then out of the blue my laptop seems to have died on me, it's being checked out but doesn't sound good. So I am trying to install the SC programme on to my desktop. It seems to download O.K. but when I go to run it I get the message.....Could not create graphic device Direct X not available (1002) I downloaded Direct x 9 and then 11 (although that doesn't seem to want to run) My graphics card is GeForce GT 740M What version of Direct X is needed? If that is not the problem what else can I try. The desktop is only a few months old.
