  1. Hey, I had the same problem but added one by posting it in the wrong forum: The author of this post knew the answer: the resolution needs to be by powers of 2: 128x128 or upwards. Enjoy. As I am new to modelling too, I have another beginner's problem now. Using the diffuse texture only works, but not to satisfaction for me. If anyone can suggest a good overview about the different texture-types and how to use them, a Link would be welcomed to learn for myself. Cheers
  2. Texture Import

It works! I read the asset editor wiki page before, but didn't understand the resolution line as mandatory. My bad. Thx for getting me started!
  3. Texture Import

I will try this as soon as possible. But today I don't have the time for it. Actually I couldn't find the delete-option for a post here. And I didn't want to spam two discussions. Thank you mate! I will report if I figured it out.
  4. Texture Import

Hello, I just started modelling 2 days ago, using blender. For learning I created a simple wall with a texture attached. I solved the most problems to make it work, with the help of some topics of this site too, so I hope you guys can help me with this one. See picture: https://i.imgur.com/PyqzpiP.jpg?1 The texture is applied correctly in Blenderscreen and in the 1st preview image of C:S. I have to click continue twice before it will import at all. But with the 2nd click it changes the texture as seen on pic. So I wonder, did I make a mistake in Blender or did the game? Thx in advance, Bud Edit: - I tried to import it as a prop. - something similar happened using a different picture: it would show the picture as it should be, but only by a certain angle, otherwise: same problem - variants: i used jpg and png, resolution: 695x343 and 1024x788, size 645 and 111kb - i tried this with and without the lamp of blender as my beginner's thought was, that the angle problem was caused by the lighting of blender
