i have installed a new region, but how do i get a region that came installed back?

i fixed it!! whoo hoo! i took the new york region folder from my hard drive, copied it, and placed it in the region folder in my documents folder in my users file! sweet!

she didn't do it on purpose. here's what she (says) she did. she had a city she didn't like, and deleted it from the region view, and says it made it all flat. no more water, nothing. so then she says she deleted the region so that she could re-start it, all fresh and brand new like. i wasn't using that one, i made my own region anyway, it just sucks to not have it.

so i've searched these boards, and have not yet found anything that makes sense to me. my problem is this: i cannot get anyone to use my trains, busses, or freeways. i have 250,000 sims in my city, i have put these items (other than the freeway which i placed in the center of the city) in the heaviest traffic density areas. and when i query them, my actual usage is zero. everytime. advice please, or point me towards something that makes sense on how to make this work. please. that's the only thing keeping me from really getting into this game. thanks.

i'm working on getting them pics... only prob is that i demolished my trans because it was costing me money and no one was using it. i'm working on it though.

i don't know how to put up a pic...i imagine it would be something from the take snapshot button on the game, anyway...if this helps in the meantime my city is all high density r.c.i. all blocks are 4x4 with roads, no streets. i did find something about linking busses and trains, and at least now people are using the stuff, about one percent capacity. i think i will start a new city and put more bus stops, i don't want to knock down my buildings for now just for bus stops. kinda lame that it takes a square of it's own, instead of designating part of the street or something. anyway... my freeway is cloverleafed directly in the center of my city. i do now have any connected cities yet, and that is the next thing i'm going to try to get that working. thanks for the welcome. i'll be back.

now with tiger, when i move around the city, parts of it will stay while the cursor moves, then eventually it goes away. and it's not just the city, parts of the mayor toolbar or the mayor/godmode buttons do it too. kinda sucks.
