  1. The Moose Factory (virtual Bar & Grill)

Okay, so I got the double post thing after I was sure it ate my first one, which makes this a nothing post. Is there a way to change the size of the font
  2. The Moose Factory (virtual Bar & Grill)

Thank you Mr. Moose and Defcon Pilot, too. A versifier I can be, But a poet? No, not me. And the Moose may be a he, But certainly not me. I'm a novelist of little fame, Which keeps me from the game. Those plotting Sims within my brain Are cantankerous and hard to tame. I think I am all versed out And my wit is losing its clout. Thus with my sanity in doubt, I'll send this on the ether route. To reflect back on the earlier discusssion, according to spelling that last line should rhyme; but of course, this in English so in effect it doesn't. Unless I've been versed oot, lost my cloot, and am mentally in doot. Ah well, that's what makes it such a fun language. Squeek, the Wilderkin PS: Thanks for not mentioning that I left the c out of scrumtilious.

All this talk about language has made me quite dizzy. I think I have need of a srumtilious moose juice fizzy.
  4. The Moose Factory (virtual Bar & Grill)

Hello again. It's good to see the Moose Factory running so well in its new home. I've had a busy year and my cities have been languishing in obscurity on my hard drive. But I'm now armed with high speed satellite Internet and will soon have a new computer with warp drive, so the future looks good. As for my thoughts about revising the English language, I shudder at the thought of trying to intentionally regulate a marvelously versitile language that evolves rather well considering all the verbiage it has to absorb and adapt to. As a writer, and an old one at that, I have had a long love affair with the infinite imagery and expressivity of the language. It is a living language of many levels, let it thrive as it will. The obsolete will fade away; the vital will survive. Squeek, the Wilderkin
  5. Great City Name Ideas Advice

Never been to Hailfax, but I've been to a lot of other places that have tree streets. I'm a forest lover and trees are what forests are all about, even if SimCity does eat them up at a rapid rate. One of my game challenges is to see how many forests I can leave standing and still have the transportation work right.
  6. Great City Name Ideas Advice

I have a region named Northwoods and all the cities have tree names such as Tamarack, Aspen, Alder, Cedar, etc. I also have a regian named Outer Limits with silly names for cities such as Ballyhoo with a mayor named Betty Boo.
