Hello. I hoped the installation of my beloved SC4 wouldn't come to this, but it has.
i used to enjoy this game on an old HP laptop that ran Windows Vista. I have since upgraded. My specs are as follows:
Intel i7 Processor, 2.20 GHz
11.9 GB of RAM
Windows 8.1 64 Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE
750GB SSD-HD
(any other specs needed?)
Auto Run and Setup.exe both start installation fine. Both stop at either 26.61 or 26.67 percent, as they try to install the San Francisco New City files. I have run in compatibility mode, reduced resolution, and google searched my issue and haven't found a solution that works. I wouldn't mind buying a digital copy if I knew it would work for sure.
Any tips, tricks and advice will be appreciated!
