Lately SC4 has been super choppy upon startup and will freeze completely when scrolling. When I Ctrl+alt+del out and open up task manager it says that the game isn't responding. This makes no sense to me. I'm running on a quadcore laptop with Win 8, I've heard there has been issues with Win 8. (I am already doing the CPU0 affinity trick so don't suggest that, and i am running compatibility Win XP SP2. I don't know where to begin trying to fix this crap, someone help please.

My laptop is running Simcity 4 way choppier and slower than it should be. Something must be wrong, because my laptop runs a lot more complicated and high graphics games more smoothly.
