That's a new one. Never ever had a fire break out in a station's coverage area. I didn't think it was possible. Are you funding it properly? As for UDI, it's on and off. Sometimes it works fine, for others it hardly functions. There has not been a big fix patch for it because it is beyond the scope of legal modding. ill have to doublecheck all there funding and coverage, i just thought it was part of the game. thanks for the replies. its rare that a game this old still has an active community. really is a testament to how fun it can be. this is my first time ever playing a sim city game, and so far im really enjoying it, ive got a few small, 20,000 people cities.

ahh i see, ill look up how to disable them, thanks! is there a way to turn off the need to manually dispatch firetrucks? i had a fire break out right next to a fire station, i thought it was fine, and it burned down half my industry sector

is there a mod just to fix these missions? i really need to learn to play the game vanilla, i dont want cheats or any real changes to the base game ( deluxe w/rushhour) but im not opposed to bug fixes. i like the bonuses from the driving missions, but twice in a row i failed the "throw money at it" missions and am -60 mayoral rating thanks
