  1. Hi all, so I've been playing a while and I always reach a point with a city where it's got big buildings and a few cool things - airport, stadia etc., but there always seems to come a point where things just seem to level out and stop. The city is in profit, the mayor rating is great, health and education good (blah blah blah) but then no further progress is ever really made - anyone got any ideas / experience. Pic attached show the furthest I've ever really got with a city (and many cities) and I don't know what to do or how to progress beyond this. All and any advice much appreciated. Best wishes Monty PS - I'm playing a pretty "vanilla" version of Deluxe with the NAM installed and not much else.
  2. Hi all, I came across an old disk of SC4 deluxe and remembered how much I liked it back in the day - tried it on the MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 and it was awful. So I partitioned the drive and installed an old version of 10.4 - installed the game - runs beautifully. So now that I have a great running game on a nice fast Mac, does anyone know where I can get hold of an OLD copy (OS 10.4 vintage) of the Mac version of NAM to get things fully spiced up? Are there any Mac users out there who could maybe zip up a copy and put it up for a download ? Best wishes Monty
  3. OLD version of NAM for OLD Mac ?

Update - I just put ALL the files from the latest version of NAM into the plugins folder and launched - no probs. Took a while longer than normal to start a new city but when it did I had everything the NAM can offer. So... To all Mac users (whether on Lion or earlier), the trick is, just partition the hard drive (VERY EASY TO DO) and install an old version of the OS and you're are back in time - but with the latest version of the cool mods. Best wishes Monty
  4. OLD version of NAM for OLD Mac ?

It's an Intel Core Duo MacBook but the install of 10.4 on the partition seems to run the game extremely well - very smooth and no crashes yet. As for NAM it took me an age to find anywhere even to download it from, then a deeply boring troll through pages of winery manuals etc to work out how to extract and use it - until I finally found Keka which just opened up the .exe and gave me the files. So... got the files now and I'm about to try to set it up and try it out - I'll keep you posted. Best wishes Monty
