In the metro region where I live: More economic growth and population. City proper 30 years ago used to be 120k, now plummeted to 100k. Metro pop stayed the same since the fracking 1970s. There is some glimmer of hope though: According to a study done by the government in my state, we're one of the counties in the state actually expected to grow 5-20% to 2030.
Sad to have to be born into a city of such decadence.
