Are you serious?! WOW! Someone at Maxis must have gone around the offices whacking everybody with the "idiot" stick! -
Just out of curiosity, why are people saying that it doesn't work in Offline mode? Is it because of the half-full levels that it shows? If that is the case, how do you know that it's not accurate. I read somewhere that factories only require the minimum number of workers to open. This argument could be extended that the "available jobs" number only shows the minimum number of jobs needed for all factories to open.

Have you tried adding garbage burners? They get rid of the accumulated garbage overnight.

Answering my own question: this weekend I was playing a game where I was trying to replicate SkyeStorme's O-megacow city (link/video below). If you watch his video(s), you'll see that he creates a neighboring utility city, which I also did. After adding the drone production factories, I started getting messages saying that "Drones spotted shopping in Hawk's View" (Hawk's View being the name of the utility city). Apparently, drones do travel to other cities.

Hmm, that seems like a very huge oversight from Maxis. Is that the whole point of co-operative (multiplayer or not) regions? It shouldn't need to go through the global market. This is rather annoying.

Hi, I am a little unclear on how trading between my own cities in the same region works. Consider the following situation: In one of my cities I have a trade depot with a plastics log, set to use locally. It gets plastics from the recycling center. The same city hosts a processor factory which uses the plastics. In another city, I have another set of recycling center and trade depot. Both of them are processing plastics. The trade port in this city is also set to use the plastics locally. Can the two cities be set in such a way that they use resources from one another - the second city delivers extra plastics to the first one? This also touches on another question - can drones produced in one city travel and be used in another? Thanks

Online and Offline mods

I agree. I would have like there to be a folder for "custom" mods already seeing how Maxis fully expects the game to be modded. Offline and Online folders would have been even better. -
Hi, I've been reading the descriptions and reviews for some of the recent mods coming out and it raised a question: how do you guys manage the online and offline mods that you are using? Some reviews of offline mods say that it can't be used online or it will result in rollbacks and issues. Do you remove and re-add mods depending on which mode you are playing? Thanks

You need to have a little bit of a bank saved up before propping Omega factories so you can buy the resources. You don't get money from Omega until you start getting franchises but you still need money to buy the resources. Plan accordingly.

Completing Great Works

Hi, I've seen multiple videos that show that it takes a little bit of time for the great works to sync up with all cities. For example, one city would show the space center complete and show a launch. Next, the video shows the player switching to another city and in there, the space center is still completing. Shortly after, however, it shows it as complete and there is another launch. I guess what I am saying is that there is some "lag" from city to city. How long did you wait after switching to another city? -
I've noticed the same thing, myself. Admittedly, I am new to SimCity 2013 but my first thought was that there could be a mismatch between wealth level of available jobs and wealth level of sims. However, in my case, factories have available jobs for all three wealth levels and the city has unemployed sims for all 3 wealth levels.
