After playing Sim City 4 on my mac and having a host of problems with NAM, i've moved it over to my old, sluggish PC.
The game plays great and despite taking ages to load up i've been impressed with how quickly the game runs. However, one problem I have is, is that downloading content from the exchanges/lots etc takes ages on my 10 year old PC.
Is it possible to download the STEX content on Mac put it in a hard-drive folder and just transfer it into plug ins folder in my PC? If it's not as simple as that, is there a way this could work?
Downloading NAM 32 took ages and after browsing the STEX i've realised I need tons of dependencies and lots to make the game feel more real.
Any thoughts?
