Very nice! My memories as a child in Japan were of terraced rice paddies and also the carp flying outside of the farmhouses, Children's Day, I think it is called? For more color, it always seemed to me there was a small garden at houses there, or tiny pools for carp. I tickled a carp the first time in Japan at one of those pools :). Fun to remember .... thanks.
