Minor issue: FLUPS seem to all come with colored bands along the fences now. Thanks for all the incredible work y'all do. Regards.

Mr. Archangel, What an interesting post, giving me several new ideas to play with. I am convinced that the slider problem is non-fixable for this city. This is a region that I started about 2 years ago, worked on for about 2 months off and on, and then it sat idle until recently. Unvoluntary free time. All of the great new downloads available were what prompted me to abandon this particular hospital, and I just made a mistake in doing so. I had not done much in the problem city since I started playing the game again, thus I have several new cities in the region that I'll try to hang on to. I think I'll try out the Radical Ordinace Mod and see what does for me, as most of the focus in this region has been experimenting with the various transportation options, and at some point I'll try your idea of an all-jobs city. I'll definitely save the current region as is so I can revert when I like, or when I mess it up again. I always have the option of wiping out the city or just starting a new region. Again, thanks for your help. If anything occurs of interest I'll post again. Regards, Dave

ArchangelMichael, Thank you for all the effort you put into your post. In your 2b comment you said "Check the budget and health data view to make sure they're all gone." After all the steps taken, the data view still shows a blue dot, signifying a building there, but nothing at all shows up in the game. I'm willing to pursue this if you or anyone else is, after all, what's the point of having a computer game if it doesn't present challenges, even if, or maybe especially if, I broke it myself. I'm also willing to admit defeat when it's called for. Also, thank you very much for the links you provided. That was very thoughtful. I do download from the LEX, and have a buncha SimGoobers work. Regards, Dave A Nonny Moose, Of course I know it's just a game. Frankly, if I want to try to solve a problem and other members wish to help, your comment is the kind that is best left unsaid. Regards, Dave

CaptCity, Thanks for your reply. If there is another hospital or health related building left in the city that I haven't demolished, I can't find it, no others than the problem hospital show on the data map, and the health advisor is having a fit because the city has no hospitals or clinics. However the data map still shows the hospital in question is still there, and the slider still shows one building. So, there is bad data in the saved file, just can't find a way to trick it out. Grettings, I have SC4 Rush Hour I have a phantom slider problem that I can find no cure for. This is the lot that, with my help, caused the problem: I wanted to delete the lot from the plugin folder, but completely missed deleting the lot from my city first, so I know it's my own fault. What I am left with is a completely blank area where the building was, no left over lot, nothing that the query shows any of the squares being any different from any other blank square. When I check the health data view, it still shows a blue dot where the hospital was, and still shows one building in the list, even though I have deleted all other health buildings and no other blue shows on the data view. The Health Expense slider rapidly returns to zero as the game runs. I have tried the following: Ripplejet's Immortality Killer Dezoning, then rezoning, allowing a new building to be built, the bulldozing Plopping a different building, then bulldozing Plopping a landmark, then bulldozing Raising the elvation of the area with the Mayor tool Reinstalling the lot, replopping the building, leaving the building in place, saving and exiting the game, then going back in. The slider problem exists if I leave the building or if I bulldoze it. Just looking for ideas. I am sort of reconciled that there is no solution, but wanted to hear from the experts. Regards, Dave
