  1. Worked like a charm, thank you very much
  2. Yeah that's the same idea sort of, except in my case what's replacing the default train isn't COT but the DLC that was in the deluxe edition of the game. And from what I tried it doesn't seem to be possible to replace anything that's inside that package (the SimCity_DLC0 one) which makes sense... every mod replaces things from the default game not the DLCs. So unless someone found a workaround it I guess I'll say what I tried doing is... impossible
  3. Ok so I think I found out what was wrong, I just had to turn on smoothing in the export options in maya, simple as that. Now I'm facing another problem, it seems like the way SimCity handles the packages is to put the SimCity_DLC0 package on top of everything, so you can't add anything over this one. The only way would be to directly change the models inside this package which I'm not sure is a very good idea... Has anyone had that issue already? Is there any workaround it?
  4. Yes that's what I tried it but it still crashes Simcitypak when I try to import the model... Maybe I'm not using the right export settings for Simcity?
  5. Hello, After seeing the amazing train mod by Oppie I decided to try and made my own model for fun. Unfortunately I'm pretty much new to everything that was involved in actually making it, so after watching some tutorials I made the models and the textures but I'm now having problems importing everything in simcity. When exporting the model from Maya in collada it simply crashes simcitypak when I try to import it, so I tried with the .obj format with simcitypak 0.1.0.8 and it works but the textures are glitched (see attached picture). So yeah any help on what I could be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated!
