Indeed. All of my drivers are up to date, spent a day doing that when I had the time, and downloaded the game update. It appears to be a lost cause =/

I can't, the only other computer I have is a Mac, and the disks are for Windows.

I updated my DirectX, nothing. The disk is fine, and the game installed completely without errors, it has a little bit of wear being a few years old, but nothing that would hamper disk performance... I'm stuck. I love this game and want to be able to play it again.

Howdy. I'm on a fresh install of XP Home and SC4 Deluxe (SC4+Rush Hour), Pentium 4 3GHz, Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 (it's an old computer), 1 GB RAM. My problem is that the game simply will not load past the EA logo screen. The EA logo flips a little and then the game exits to the desktop. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? I used to have it installed just fine on my computer, nothing has changed about the specs and operating system except for the fresh reinstall.
