The old upload was taken down a while back because I had pre-rendered the map which made the download way to big to be an acceptable size so I took the time to rebuild the map somewhat before uploading it as a much more compact .SC4M file.
I mainly did this because the original heightmap I used had poor quality and I had taken a lot of creative editing to make it look the way it did. The new map however is based on a much more detailed map of the Antarctican continent without the ice sheet, and this one also has much more accurate isostatic rebound and sea level rise. So it should be ready to play as-is.
There are 11 Large, 34 Medium and 18 Small playable land-based city regions. The map totals at 28 x 28 small map regions on each side.
Please note that the map is not to scale (Antarctica is twice the size of Australia). I just did this for fun.
Changes from the previous map include a rotation 90 degrees clockwise so that the side of Antarctica that faces south america is facing "North," as well as a much higher quality height map that includes both sea level rise from all the melted ice and the isostatic rebound of the continent rising higher due to having less weight pressing down on it.
