Yeah most of my city is medium to high wealth, with 0 industry at all I haven't had much need for low skill workers so have the bare minimum which might be why my population isn't as high as I'd of liked! But profit is really good and all of my mass transports mean that barely any of the tourists drive in! Wish my region was better to be fair all of the cities connected to mine offer nothing and I can't even sell them my power or water as they are so small! Maybe they will abandon and I can take over the world!! (Region)

Hi everyone, very new to here and SimCity as a whole! Had a bit of play on sandbox but then got bored and fancied a challenge so jumped onto a random server and started to build, there was nobody around and the island I had chosen was only really good for one thing... As the name suggests I wanted it to be the gambling heart of the region and set about my roads etc from the start to allow for at least one strip. I wasnt planning on putting any pics up so havent taken any progress photos, but here goes with where I am now, happiness has never really been below 80%, traffic is bearable with streetcars contantly running around and my residential sections seem to of lasted to over 100k but will have to see how they fair as it increases... I plan on removing the expo shortly and putting in a stadium in its place to get even more profits! C&C are appriciated, it is my first attempt at a big city on here so be gentle! Cheers

Thanks for the reply I haven't got the expansion pack currently still getting to grips with the game as a whole before getting even more stuff to confuse me! Just the map size bugging me, played CitiesXL on steam but lag issues for no reason put me off that game! Have a decent computer that can handle almost anything on high detail so confused! Is there anything in the pipeline regarding map size anybody is aware of? Sucks that I can't have a totally complete city with everything in it!

Hi guys, new to this place as have had simcity for ages since buying a new pc but have only just installed and have been instantly addicted!! Sat here in work drawing designs that may or may not work and thought of one I wanted to share to stop me before trying or to urge me on... It would consist of one large streetcar loop around the outside and a smaller streetcar loop inside it, not connected to one another, these two would be connected by evenly spaced high density avenues or roads with res on the outside 3/4 and industrial on the last 1/4 downwind, then between the two loops a mix of res and commercial at a ratio or about 1 in 4 blocks commercial... Pol stations and fire etc between loops with the centre kept for specialisation, probably gambling or tech? I haven't played too much so haven't had time to play with streetcars much but will be trying this at some point, thoughts or help would be much appreciated! Cheers
