It happens without the NAM too. I said I made a mistake: this problem came with patch 1.1.638.
-
Ok, I've been inaccurate: problems come with v. 1.1.638. Nothing changes by patching to v. 1.1.640 (obviously) and with the nam.
-
I'm using the NAM too. I made some further investigation: outgoings immediately rise, air pollution decreases and mayor's evualuation improves, after a while people stop using the subway (and ferry) and traffic rises. At the end population drops (from 1.5M to 1.4M), travel distances greatly lenghten and everything stops working. I'm wondering if this comes from something i did wrong or it's what is expected from the patch. In this case I've no choice, I'll remove it.

Hi guys, I need your help again! I've got this issue (or... feature, it's a matter of point of view): when i patch my sc4 up to v. 1.1.640 immediately the subway usage falls down and traffic (cars) rises. This means dramatic budget breakdown and inevitable (for me) city collapse. I think I read that the patch should improve the path-management, but to me it's not a step forward. Normal? I'm doing something wrong? Thank you!
-
I'm not stubborn, I'm just trying to understand: I see BIG inconsistencies in paths showed by the root query (e.g. between borders) and it's not easy to accept that only what is showed by the tool are the real numbers.
-
Following this criterion, in the city overview the amount of citizens should be the totality of available flats in the city and not the total population! For what I can see, the road query tool it's pretty approximative, and you should remember that is an add-on of RH and not present in the clean game, so I concluded that it's not so basic in the game mechanics.
-
Are you really sure of this? This make me no sense: in the city overview (region) and in the employing graphs there's a certain amount of effective workers, but using the query tool this amount should be 0.
-
Around my main residential / commercial city I've set lot of minor towns (mainly industrial, zero pop.), the questions are: - Can workers travel through a whole town to reach their job in a third one? If yes (as I suppose): - If I see no usage of trains/metro and no workers moving (buf factories are fully employed), where the workers come from? From a general 'outside'? Like other (but empty) towns or outside the region (Sim Nation)? This way I increase the employment of my main city or it's totally useless? Thank you.

I decided to markedly rise the power supply from the neighboring cities: the power usage grew a bit and some new buildings appeared, without any remarkable effects on population. Now the situation is stable, but I've the suspicion that all this have strongly slowed down the city growth. For other questions should I open new threads? TY

Every step up of power supply in the graph is due to my choice and not because the game asked me for more power.

Hi everybody! Here's the first of a couple of questions i've got on SC4: Since a long time ago in my biggest city the power demand (azure line in graph) reached the total capacity (blue line), but I never got any warning or power zot on buildings. I only buy power from neighbours, i have SC:RH patched but clean (no mods) and this is not the first time i get this 'issue'. If I rise the power supply from the other cities, the demand rises too but the situation - at the end - doesn't change. I guess it's a common problem/glitch but i don't know if really changes anything for the city growth or even if it comes from something i did wrong. What should I do? Thank you for your help!
