When I got the email, I could not believe that Maxis is doing this. Basically they are saying that can not fix the traffic issues so this is their solution. Everytime that issue a major update, they break more things with the game than the update fixes. I try not to be critical of the game because I did enjoy playing it every so often, but is the lowest they have ever stooped to. "We can't fix the traffic because the engine is broken, so we came up with another solution, pay more money if you want your game to work like it's supposed too." Absolutely disgusting!

Using Amusement Park to it's Full potential to make some serious daily cash flow- I wanted to post this in answer to those who question whether it's worth the $10.00 for the Amusement Pack DLC. So the trick is massive expansion of the park giving up space for the sims. Here we have the City of 3Bridges with a meager populous of 28,000 with large amounts of money surplus. Looking at the park, it looks like two separate parks but it is one with two separate sections on opposite sides of the valley. So once you build your main park (on the left side of the screen) and go through all upgrade phases (there are 4), you get the opportunity to use the railroad at Level 4 to continue your park somewhere else on the map other than where you started as in the picture below. Also once you maxed the park out with all upgrades your park should bring in from 160,000.00 to 200,000.00 daily profit. This one has a daily profit of 160.000.00 which means that your city can run in the red and still make mucho cash. At level 4 you open the railroad depot to lay tracks... And go where ever you want, including under bridges, over hills, etc., to lay your expansion... And add more rides. A closer view of expansion 2... Expansion 2 from North view... View from Bayside... And there you have it, a massive park with 160,000.00 simoleons and lots of wasted space needed for building and people. So, is it worth the extra 10.00 it cost, yes... as 3Bridges can and does support other major cities with lots of extra cash flow.

The problem is that when the government grows beyond the constraints of what it was designed for, it will become corrupt. We are seeing that fact become reality in the IRS targeting scandal, the NSA overstretching it's authority, along with all the scandals the White House is currently involved in. CNN just released the latest poll this morning of which the same poll taken in 2012 had 46% not trusting the government when it comes to general populous of personal privacy. This morning numbers now show that number has become a majority of 56% who no longer trust the government in relation to to that issue and personal liberties as defined by the Constitution and I imagine that before this disaster blows over, that number will very rapidly climb even much higher.

Releasing a bugged ridden Mac version would just kill Maxis, atop of the fact that the PC users are watching very closely. Maxis just can not afford to have both sides of the computer medium corrupted with bugs.

Maxis hires staff geeks just to sit and monitor gaming sites and forums like this one, IGN, Gamespot, etc., Maxis already knows what irritates the fans and what the fans want. The number 1 complaint and demand from the fans, besides the fact the that the game did not work when launched, is city tile size. Maxis is simply saying that they are listening to you but they simply have to put a priority on overloading the fans with additional DLC to make up for the funds they lost at launch.
