Must admit that I now play this game on Sandbox mode due to disasters and other rubbish that ruins the experience. There should be an On/Off button for the disasters so that we can enjoy the game without Zombies and other stuff. Neil W

Is anyone else suffering from the cursor vanishing during a game? I use the sandbox mode and of late I notice that the cursor disappears never to return when I am accessing the population menu. Most annoying as a reboot is the only option that I'm aware of. It seems to be getting more common. Not a problem before Patch 5 was applied that I can recall. Neil W

newbie question about greatworks

I was trying to build the space port in my region but despite putting in loads of materials the amounts needed always differed between the towns and was never consistant. Sometimes more was needed sometimes less. Very Frustrating. never finished it and don't consider that they ever can be completed and if they are even worthwhile from what I've read here. Opinions? To me its a matter of perspective. Outside of the USA, computer (Video) games can often be at $80 to $100 per game and no amount of "Jumping" up and down is going to alter that situation for us any time soon. Another example was that when I was last in the states back in 2012 Gas was $3.06 per gallon or about 75 cents per litre (About 4 litres = 1 US gallon) and many locals were jumping up and down about that. For us that was ok for we are used to paying $1.56 per litre or about $6.24 per gallon. As I said its all about perspective. To me $10 isn't a great amount to pay for a feature that may make my gaming experience that much more enjoyable. To each his own I guess. Neil W

I guess the freedom we all have as consumers is that we make up our mind as to if we are going to buy or not buy as is our want. So far both DLC's I've enjoyed using so I feel that my money has been well spent. Naturaly I also expect the various defects in the game will be rectified over time and as long as the enjoyment of this game out weighs the problems I'll continue to use it and look positively at any future DLC or announcements as they occurr. Anybody going to purchase the Airships port?
moosc replied to infoman96's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
The commuter blimp is the best value as Mine moves over 11,000 sims per day between two cities. Leaves Ports and trains for dead IMHO. The commuter blimp needs a depot in the other town to operate from what I've seen. The other blimp brings them in from outside the region from what is the rest of the world I guess. It doesn't need a depot in the other towns I think. Neil W -

I've purchased it. Think it'll be a bit more fun and yet another option for the game. Have the musement park and that city now turns a profit without resorting to electronics to survive. Neil W -
Question and a statement.

One of the reasons I play Sandbox in a private area. NeiL W -
Sometimes its best to split your power plants on two sides of the city for best coverage, also a Avenue across town helps with the distribution of power. Neil W

No you don't need a Town hall or any additions to it to operate normaly. Neil W

Why do we play this game?
moosc replied to VanGioRobNelli's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
I've been playing this game for over 100 hours, but only in sandbox mode. Want to complete a major project such as the space port and then my work will be done. Neil W
