Is there an effective way to combat Zombie Attacks?
tristanrob replied to The_City_Builder's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Have you guys actually seen the zombies? Like I always get the alert and I've looked through my whole city and don't seem them at all. -
Naw the only sound issue I have is the sounds mix up. So if I click on the police station I hear the trade depot sounds or something of the nature

Lol, I hope it doesn't catch on fire, I'm in the process of building one now, as asoon as the stupid plastic gets there, Alloy and processors were done in no time, but plastic is taking dreadfully long, I gotta build it because I'm bleeding the city dry just trying to power it.

Yea. The employees. I mean it is the government that chooses the wages so should we. I doubt it will happen but its a nice thought

Wouldn't it be pretty cool to be able to set a minimum wage that businesses must pay their customers. I could go on for days as I play this dang game on how to make it more realistic, I mean of course I need some kinda fantasy but it is a simulator. I gotta ply it cause I can't do the stuff in real life, but I think we should have alot! more decision to make. Better economy better wages! or give people incentives to do certain actions as with the ordinances, or a crimestoppers.... Genius

The main problem I have with my city of electronics is that they require a lot of power so I'm spending 5500 on just power alone. That's what mainly putting me in the red. But through just this one city I've beenable to supply a whole solar farm(still sending materials) to take care of the issue. But for three most part I'll be back in the green. Even though I won't need it if I'm exporting just processors alone. I'll probably add consumer to get more money so I can fully fund another city. The ordinances would make me just love the game because it gives us a little more control over how the city runs almost like laws. At a price of. Course

A good idea I thought about while playing because I keep having burned down buildings and what not, if we could limit the area of coverage. Like I have 2 fire departments, one is on one end and the other somewhere else, and why all the trucks are in one location? Who knows, but if we could draw out a certain area like vicinity for them to extend to without leaving that so if a fire is closer or in their zones they can take care of the situation same thing for all city services. This game should be alot more complex than it is.... hummmm

I have my city in the electonics business. what I came to discover, instead of importing alloy and plastic which is the most expensive material that you need to have, I just built a smelting plant and I got the oil refinery to create plastic, this all saved me money with the imports and created more money for export. Even before the electonics you can just create alloy and plastic to get your money up higher in order to move up. Just some figuring rather than paying 60k+ to import plastic and alloy, jsut create it with materials that cost maybe 25-30k. Just a suggestion!

Also, wouldn't things be smarter to have certain spots on a road where a car can hit a U-turn. I have long streets and its ridiculous to seea fire happening and the dang fire truck has to go alllllll the way to the end of the street to turn around and come all the way back up just to reach the fire. I remember in Simcity 4 I could have a Avenue and just use a regular road going perpendicular and it would create a place to hit a U-turn. Anybody remember?

I'm playing trying to take care of my trash problem that is accumulating because of stupid issues like this. They still haven't perfected the traffic issues. It's like other places including this is just having traffic for no reason at all. like a person is texting or driving or some crap and just won't drive at all. come on MAXIS!!!

Among all the other things that need to be fixed in the game, are there any future plans on adding Ordances back to the game? That was a real kicker in SimCity 4, As much as we all paid for the game the least we can do is either be able to mod them into the game, or EA get off their high retarded horse and listen up. Larger Cities is the #1 priority, but they should have everything from SimCity 4 and then some. Which includes city ordinances and alot of other things. The missions were pretty fun too, maybe they should just come out with a HD revamp of SimCity 4, and then I'll be satisfied....

Strategy On Making Money?
tristanrob replied to Fearino's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
pshh, I got a electronic city, and I have the highest of city services, I'm in the red of about 60k an hour, BUT!!!! because of the processors, TV' and computers, I'm making millions easily making the red unnoticeable, I think my next region I want to make a city with high wealth, electronic spot, and then the same high wealth with straight culture. I think it will work out. The casino is the trickest I have found so far, talk about rollercoaster on income!
