Hi I have just bought SC4 deluxe. I have never played Simcity before so I am a bit confused about which mods I need to apply. So I found a tutorial on this site to update my SC4 version from vers 1.1.613.0 to 1.1.638.0 I followed the tutorial and get two file not found errors and then it says it has updated successfully ! But checking the exe file it has not changed and I checked a few of the other files and they hadn't changed either? The errors were both the same -"Old File not found, However a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents did not match" anyone know what I'm doing wrong please? Thanks Mike

Thanks! It seems I used the wrong update. The list never mentioned europe or the uk so I went for the one for north america and australia ! BTW it upgtaded to vers 1.1.138.0 ! is that ok? also what does this upgrade do ? is it just a bug patch? thanks Mike

No it is a CD version and it definitely hasn't changed. it's still 1.1.613.0
