Hi,
I've been running a city In a multiplayer region the last few days. Population around 83k specialising in trade (shipping processors for income) and education. My city has grade school high school and university. Yesterday one of my neighbours completed a archeology and I decided to plop a nuclear power plant.
This is where things got a little crazy almost as soon as I plopped the nuke power station I started to get natural disasters such as earthquake meteor strikes much more frequently (the frequency of these is off the scale like every 24 in game hours). The disaster range across the complete range from tornadoes to giant lizards and zombies.
So far my nuclear plant has survived unscathed but I'm worried that the disasters which decimate the population will affect the education / tech level of my sims increasing the risk of a meltdown.
Anyone else noticed that the disaster rate as I call it shoots through the roof as soon as you plopped you nuclear plant?
