I purchased the hardcopy (CD) of Simcity. Now I just bought a new laptop that doesnt have an optical drive on it. My question is... can I do a digital download for free and use the code that is on my CD copy? Or, do I need to buy an external optical drive to install the game on my new computer? Any way to get it on my new laptop without the disc? Thanks

another dumb question... I cannot find the "system folder". Where would it be on Windows 7? thanks

^^ Yes! That's exactly what mine is doing. I re-installed and it appears to be working fine now. When I installed it... it did say my video drivers were not up to date. How do I update my video card drivers? I'm not sure what video card I'm running. Its a laptop that meets the specifications for the game. Runs good but not great. It will do for now I guess, haha. Probably the dumbest /easiest question asked so far, but I can't find it for some reason... How do I change the view to a normal view where I can see the actual terrain? I'm stuck in a view of blue squares where I can see below ground and see through squares. I can't tell where the land, mountains or even water is. The only thing that looks real is what I actually build. It's like I'm building in space. Please help, haha.
