Where is this .PAK file? I'd like to play around with it.... *EDIT* I found the PAK files, but I don't know which one it is...

Hi, all.... I have been playing Cities XL for months now off and on. I've mainly played the solo game but have dabbled in the Planet Offer. The lack of ambient sounds in the game have been mentioned by several players and Monte Cristo has answered that they are in the game but just not implemented. I have heard they were in the Beta but disappeared from the retail release. Can we get these in a patch or do we have to wait for Cities XL 2011? Yamsi

I am loving this so far. I used the high version of the two. I don't know if this was an intended effect, but it appears to make the crimes more persistent so you can actually catch crooks again occassionally. Can we tweak this a bit more to make them even more persistent? -

Well, I'm plugging away, but it's hit or miss. I was hoping for some help or advice from some of the modders that have been doing this for a while. I see that this post has been read several times, but not replied to. As I said b4, this is probably not high on a lot of people's mod list. If I do stumble on something, I will let y'all know. Crime Automata Fade - Think Ive made some progress

Hiya, again! Using DarkMatter's Transit SuperModd Crime Automata 10% version as a base, I've been playing with some numbers. It appears that Maxis had to reduce the fade time for automata when they made Rush Hour (it's set to 1). I set it to 10. The crimes stick around longer, and I even busted a crook for the first time in a long time! One problem though, this appears to increase the fade time for the cars and people, so now I have cars actually appearing to run into cars that haven't faded yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I know some of you probably don't care a flying fig about this, but I figured I'd make it my first foray into modding. BTW, I'm a certified computer tech, so if anyone has hardware questions maybe I can help. Yamsi3467
