Just another Show Me thread. This time, it would be nice to see how one acquires more than 1 million simoleons. Preferably post the City Budget panel and strategy. I'll start. This city is currently not connected to any other city in the region. It has an average of 3.5m simoleons at roughly 41k population. 41K seems to be the stable population level - any further nudge would create heavy traffic, etc. It has a lot of high-row trees around the industrial zones. It is currently focused on Tech Industry.

I accidentally left the game online the whole 10 hours I was at work. Buildings exploded and so did the cash - 100mil+! Accidental botting FTW.

I just broke 10 million at Year 3. Three things that worked very well for me: Low population = No Traffic Efficient Supply Chain Plant forests around industrial facilities = No sickness
