Game installed now,but had to edit the data.package myself to get it working. Thanks all for this thread,saved me a few quid.

When installing does it matter what language you install it as 1st,or is it better to choose a certain one (whatever it is).

That`s my question answered i guess! Ok,before i click buy on the place i`ve found,is there anywhere else recommended to grab this then? Don`t mind paying a *little* more if the piece of mind is better.

Weird...after applying this 'fix' I get an error message saying: 'You have not redeemed a product code for SimCity. Please make sure you have redeemed the product code in Origin.' The game was working fine before this patch came out. This is why i`m holding back for the moment,is this "error" usually fixed easily tho?

Guess that`s the risk you take for saving money. Now i guess it`s price hunting time,£25 cheapest i`ve found so far,now i`ve found the fix `n` how to here,makes it seems a no brainer tbh.

Googling for this language fix brought me here,so hi! Now.had a brief scan through,but not too sure how to go about it,asking now as yet to buy the game untill i know how to/how easy/how often (after every patch?) the patch is to apply. Cheers. ......upon actually waking up and reading correctly,it seems it`s just a drag n drop of the fixed data.package into the correct game folder?
