I had a pretty bad traffic jam once when an entire group of construction vehicles decided to park at a stop sign. Construction was halted completely, and emergency vehicles couldn't get to places in time. It was a disaster. At first I thought it was just the "under construction" buildings glitching out until I heard the sirens blaring and not going anywhere. Haven't had that problem since though. I still find it funny that emergency vehicles behave just like the others even in the case of an emergency (i.e. stopping at stoplights).

Heh. I've only had an earthquake and a couple of alien attacks. They were pretty frightening though because they occurred immediately after I had plopped my municipal airport after saving up enough money to do so. The earthquake occurred on the complete opposite side of the city where all the trailer parks are, but one of the aliens decided to immediately hover over the airport. It was pretty scary, but it didn't shoot any lasers at it fortunately. That said, disasters haven't bugged me so much, but I don't think I've had to experience the worst ones yet.

Schoobus stops work too? Wow. I demolished all of my schoolbus stops to save a penny, but now that my income is back up, I guess I'll add them back. I assumed university students didn't take the yellow dog, but now it makes sense since most of my residents on the other side of the river (literally) are uneducated. I'll add them back because I'd really like to upgrade my university and research a solar farm.
