I'd like to see this in my city just for the lulz. XD

The product we have now feels more like a paid beta test rather than a full game and I do agree that it is frustrating at times. The people who managed to get into the beta were actually given a one-hour cap with some facilities that were locked, which was obviously not enough to find bugs in the game. The beta seemed more like a publicity stunt rather than an actual attempt to find bugs, but that's just my point of view as a person who's watched let's plays of the beta.

Alrighty then! Thanks for clearing that up! I'm still in the process of deciding which game to pick so you've put SC4 into one of my considerations~ Agreed. I think the fact that they're offering Dead Space 3 and NFS: MW (both relatively new games) for free is already a big deal. I guess they were putting other older and/or cheaper options on the table just in case some people already owned these games. Can't expect them to fully compensate the game.

Just wondering... will SimCity 4 even work properly on modern PCs? I've heard that you have to do some tweaking to let it run smoothly. If that's the case, then it's sort of pointless that they're offering it as an apology. XD

I've seen both a fire chopper extinguish a fire and a police chopper follow criminals in my own city, so I don't think it's strictly for neighboring cities. There's probably just something wrong with the AI, just like the rest of the AI in this game.

I'm still holding on to my small hope that SimCity gets better soon, but yeah I do agree that the fun is starting to wear off. The bugs just keep irritating me because I always have to make workarounds to all these problems that shouldn't be problems.
